Aww man, I thought I posted here.

Any of you read Julie Garwood's books? She's a really good writer, from the one book I read from her.

Its a good book, its called Heartbreaker. I loved it a lot, and I'm still able to reread time to time, and STILL enjoy it! happy.gif

Oh wow! My friend and I got that book yesterday! *laughs* It seemed really interesting. XD

I like:
Tamora Pierce
but most especially, DEAN KOONTZ. He's my favorite author.
I also love Llyod Alexander. He did the Book of Three series.

No, I haven't read those books, but my favorite authors are JK Rowling, Eric Walters, Avi, and I that's all I remember. I'm quite the bookworm, so there are quite a few authors.

Yay bookworms! Has anyone read "The Chosen" by Chaim Potok? It's my summer reading book and I thought it was good. There's also "Inkheart" and "Inkspell" by Cornelia Funke. It's an original concept.

I've heard of Inkspell and such, but I never had the time to try it out... Hmmm... Maybe I'll check out the Library soon?... Oh, and what genre is it???

I think a great book series is the Earthsea cycle by Ursula LeGuin! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasty books!

I'm also a sucker for the Narnia series (read it as a preteen) as well as the Prydain Chronicles. These are short books, but classics.

Through my eyes, Narnia was a waste of paper and trees.

I like Eragon... But I can't read it just yet, because I'm reading Inkheart, which is also awesome.

I've been reading quite a few Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. books lately, as well as the His Dark Materials trilogy. I find them appealing because the the characters don't always live happily ever after, but they do still live.

I'm in love with Animorphs. Last time I read those was back when I was about 12 years old, I think. It's a shame that only 20 books have been translated, though. I wanna read them all! D: But we don't have English versions of the series in our libraries.

Yeah, I know what you mean! And while her endings sometimes drive me crazy, I still love them. Have you read her When Lightning Strikes series about the girl Jess who gets hit by lightning and then can find missing people? That guy Rob is a friggen hottie! giggle.gif *cough*

Mmm, lets see. .. Oh! The Narnia books! I loved them as a kid, and I still do. They were probably my first fantasy books ever. My favorites in the series would probably be Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspean, and the Silver Chair.

Have to second the Narnia books. I think Voyage of the Dawn Treader is still my favorite, can't wait for the movie version in two years.

Any Star Trek fans here? I'm a fan of the Deep Space Nine series, and the "Season 8 relaunch" book series is simply fantastic. Especially "Stitch in Time" ( written by the actor who actually played Garak ), the Mission Gamma series and the Worlds of DS9.

Hokay *cracks knuckles*
Well, I got quit a few that I like, but I shall give you my uber favs.
The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind:
These books start out classic fantasy, but as it goes on it becomes more and more world views and such.
The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Artemis Fowl series
I forgot the name of the series but the first book is called:
Ring of Five Dragons by Eric van Lustbader:
I think that it's an interesting mix of sci-fi and fantasy
The Belgariad by David Eddings
The Mallorean (the continuation for The Belgariad) by David Eddings
Polgara the Sorceress by David Eddings
The Hobbit or There and Back Again by J.R.R Tolkien
I forgot the name of the series but the first book is called:
The White Mare:
It's about the Irosh area in the time of the expansion of the Romans. The religion of the people there is similarcto the modern religion called Wicca of anyone has heard of it.
If I think of anymore I shall tell you.
