Well, I was kind of glad that George was freed of Lenny's hold. Really. I mean, come on. I know it's not nice to mentally challenged people, but Lenny was really kind of scary.
I mean, he liked to pet dead mice.  Like, EEEEeeeeeeWWWwwww?!?!!!  |

We were supposed to read the book, but we didn't have time, so we watched the movie instead
 It was very touching. Though yeah, Lenny was a bit creepy.Oh! Have you guys read any Amelia Atwater-Rhodes? The chick is a friggen genius!! I LOVE her books! Which is saying something, since I'm normally petrified of vampires. Her shapeshifter books are incredible too. Mmm, CM, I'm loving Meg Cabot's adult books so far! I've read The Boy Next Door and Boy Meets Girl. She is such a talented author. *is filled with envy* |

Rhodes writes fantasy/horrer sort of stuff. Like, she writes about vampires, witches, shapeshifters, and vampire hunters. Though I just finished her newest book and wasn't exactly pleased by what she did
I never thought I'd see homosexualality from her. . . Anyway, she still writes beautifuly. I highly recommend her! My fav. books of hers are Shattered Mirror, Hawksong, Snakecharm, Falcondance, and Midnight Predetor. VERY good books  |

Okay. The minute I get... well, a minute, I'll check my local bookstore. Being in a francophone province, it's unlikely I'll find many english books elsewhere.

I'm not much of a reader as much as I was when I was younger, but I really liked the Silverwing Trilogy by Kenneth Oppal. I didn't get to read one of his "newer" novels like Airbourne, but I liked the way he makes one long descriptive paragraph and sums it all into one little sentence.

Watership Down by Richard Adams is another good one. He creates such an immersive society for his main characters that you sometimes almost forget that they're all rabbits

I just finished reading Size 12, CM, and I LOVED it!!! Holy cow, it was incredible!!!
I cannot wait for more of the HEather Wells mysteries!! I just pray, that Heather ends up with Cooper. He is a sexy beast!!! *growls* |

Yes. Cooper is a real studmuffin. Hopefully she won't end the series too fast, though. I love her 80% happy endings (things finish up well, but the guy is still roaming free).

Yeah, I know what you mean! And while her endings sometimes drive me crazy, I still love them. Have you read her When Lightning Strikes series about the girl Jess who gets hit by lightning and then can find missing people? That guy Rob is a friggen hottie!
 *cough*Mmm, lets see. .. Oh! The Narnia books! I loved them as a kid, and I still do. They were probably my first fantasy books ever. My favorites in the series would probably be Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspean, and the Silver Chair. |

I think my first fantasy book was the Lord of the Rings. My dad read it to me when I was five XD
Dune is another good fantasy book. Well, it and it's sequels/prequels. Very well written. |

I have to read Dune myself. Many hot and smart guys have suggested it to me. And what sort of illeterate person would I be if I did not listen to those studly friends of mine?
 I didn't read Cabot's Where-R-U series, Alantie. I probably should, though. I'm sure they're not bad at all. ^^ |

I am actually in the middle of Watership Down right now.... got the urge to read it after I saw the origional 1970's movie...... that and Plague Dogs.....
OOOOOOooo Neil Gaiman has got to be my fav author! Good Omens (co-authored with Terry Brooks) was great Stephen King is good too, his Dark Tower series is great........ personally I liked it better than LoTR, but that's just me.... I also like the Sonja Blue series by Nancy A. Collins so many books............. so little time........... |
