Well, the problem with that, is that Zelda is a game with mostly female characters. Which is kinda odd, when you think about it. . .But I suppose the game targets guys, so it has more females for them to oggle. . . I'm personally leaning towards using Midna or Saria, but if you suggest a decent guy, I might consider changing my mind. . .

Actually, you'd be shocked at how well balanced Zelda games have become, of late, in terms of male/female ratios.

Now don't give me this "we don't have as much choice" thing. Besides, taking a female character to play Mouse's role would bring about the how-do-you-avoid-romantic-pairings-between-them-and-Link-in-a-plausible-way debate, which I seem to suffer from every time I attempt such stories.

Okay, okay, lol. You have a point CM. I was wrong, forgive me! *bows* I had actually forgotten about Ralph. He was an interesting character! Blast my brother for loosing my copy of OoA. *shakes fist* You know, Ralph's not a bad idea. . . He definately has personality and spunk. . . Okay, I'm leaving it in your hands! Who do you guys want as Mouse? Saria, or Ralph? I think I already know the answer to this one. . .

Also, title. Should I simply call it Ladyhawke? Or Princesshawke? Or something entirely different?

Firstly, I'd like to vote that CGM's memory is insanely good. Even I can't remember this far back, and I haven't played all the games...so kudos to her.

Seconds, if Mouse is someone we like, make it Saria. Or else, if you want to make us hate him, make it Ralph. If you want an anti-hero, make it Ralph. If you want an anti-villain, make it Saria. More interesting says I.

I have a GanonxZelda in which the very day Link returns from MM, Ganon attacks the Castle, kills the King and forces Child Zelda to watch a horrific torturing to death of Child Link. Lots of Link in wide eyed horrorfied looks at Zelda and gruesome screams of agony as she helplessly watches him get brutally tortured to death by Ganon in order to absorb the full power of Courage from Link. Ganon raises Zelda in his court and somehow they eventually fall in love when Zelda matured into adult hood. Suggestions?

Two words: Stockholm syndrom.

Finally: wtf two triforces against one can usually put up a good fight.

*shrug* Do what you want. There's no guarantee I'll read it cuz torture fics aren't my cup of tea.

Nah..I'm not going to do that on this forum. But to show that there is a reasoning behind the torture and I'm not just a maniac. In some ancient cultures that practiced ritual human sacrifice, prolonged suffering to a victim meant a sort of increase of absorption of power from the soul of the victim. So in Ganon absorbing the full power of the TOC at the expense of Child Link's suffering and Zelda with the TOW suffering through being forced to watch the ordeal, I would have some sort of magical interplay between all three triforces that favors the increase in power to the TOP.

But Ganon needs Zelda and her TOW to remain alive to co exist with his TOP/TOC hybrid. And in raising Zelda in his court he would somehow get her to overcome her hatred of him for torturing Link to death on the day he returned from the MM adventure and she would fall in love with Ganon eventually. In the courtship process I'll be sure to include a lot of psychological stuff on Zelda coming to grips in falling in love with the villain who brutally tortured Link to death in front of her when she was a child.

Hope you plan to do plenty of research on it or I'mma have to call shenanigans on it.

What research?? I already have it all in my head and its just a matter of writing it down. Currently I'm working on various projects on serious original fiction and once thats done I might try to jot down all my Link with Zelda, Malon, Nabooru and my two GanonxZelda plots and simply just write them down for anyone to judge. As I have always said before..I welcome anyone to attack my POV and theories at any time. Unfortunately it comes off that I'm Mr Super asshole who sadistically likes to treat people terribly.
