Ideas for fics, In need of some, scab if you want

*cough* Never seen Dead Man Walking. . . maybe fill me in on the basic plotline?

I'm thinking Link's gonna be the one whose accused of comitting the crime. I'm thinking either he's accused of robbery or murder. Zelda is his super hot lawyer who after several sessions with her client believes he is indeed innocent- Ah! Wait!!! Maybe everyone believes Link is psychotic or something, so he's thrown into a mental institution until after his trial?! What think ye? *is excited*

If you can get Link out of the psycho ward, sure.

Er, well. . . Zelda could always help break him out, or argue in court that since he hasn't been tried yet, he shouldn't be in a Mental Institution, so she wins and he's released into her custody

Into her custody, hm? All fine by me.

CGM, Alantie, and anyone else who feels like writing something when you/they have free time I have a challenge thingo for you. You may or may not like it (I seem to love powerful themes).

Link is a corrupt cop, who's trying to support his sister, (insert character, either Aryll or Saria, depending on preference) through the shady life of drugs, raids, and assassinations. After performing a few raids, he is assigned to an undercover position to watch an ruthless crime boss, Ganondorf Dragmire, along with a rookie officer, Sheik.

While on the job, he meets Dragmire's niece, Zelda Harkinian, the closest thing Dragmire has to a daughter. Ever since her father Daphnes Nonhassen Hyrule (was that spelt right? ) died in a gang war, Dragmire has done his best to ensure Zelda can have a better life than his.

While Zelda detests the life her uncle leads, she still cares for him, as he is the only remaining family she has left. Link is told that she is probably the best lead to getting into Dragmire's crime outfit.

Possible twists: Daphnes killed a total of one hundred people while acting as a hitman for Dragmire, constructing him as a total ruthless person, then making him actually an undercover? If someone wants to take up the challege, I'd suggest you read Scorpia by Anthony Horowitz. Take a look at the construction of the character of Alex's father.

Maybe have Link shoot himself in the end, when he thinks its all hopeless? I never said he died.

And...if no-one takes up this challege, I'll do it. Because I needed to write out a storyline somewhere. And it's easier than the other one currently.

Holy cow. .. I LOVE that plot line!!! *jumps up and down excitedly* That's quite a twist, having ol' Ganny actually care about Zelda! Except. . . could I change it to Link being a hired assassin/bodyguard? Well, unless someone else thinks they could write it better than me. But I think this sounds AWESOME!! I'd love to do it!

I already said I was busy working on OiH. But it's a great idea.

I figure that eventually the conflict for Link would be 'kill Ganondorf, lose Zelda, keep job and save sister', or 'let Ganondorf live, keep Zelda, lose job, put sister in trouble'.

(Rookie Sheik! *squeal*)

Well, for Alantie, its possible to make him an assassin undercover. Or like, he's employed to be a hitman. That'd be cool...

Hmm...well, since Link was supposed to be a dark, and corrupt character, doing the wrong thing for the right purpose, I thought maybe Zelda would try and make him a better person. She tries and gets him to get out of the "gagster" life...

That's kind of the thoughts I was having.

What I thought about doing was Link and Sheik are hired by Ganondorf as bodyguards, but Link is an assassin, secretly employed by the other gang or whatever to either destroy Ganondorf or something precious to him. *wiggles eyebrows*

Well, it does also work out. It just is a lot more interesting when you have Link as an undercover cop, doing the wrong thing. But your storyline still works! If you do it really nicely it's gonna turn out WAY better than mine! Say, where does sister fit in? Me ish a bit wondering...

If you want to have a traitor make it Sheik. Just look at OoT Manga.

The sister? *clears throat* Aryll. (sp? ) She is young teenager, me thinking maybe 15? Link does his 'jobs' to help support her, because he doesn't get paid well for anything else, and also because he thinks he's helping to create a better Hyrule and all that jazz. Aryll knows what her brother does, and continually worries for his safety, begging him to stop this way of life. She loves Link fiercly. How does that sound?

Hmm, mebbe Sheik turns traitor against. . . who? Link, or Ganondorf?

Sheik must be a good guy.

Ha! I just had an insane thought! What if Saria is the one that Link really works for doing the assassinations. Wouldn't that be bizarre?!

Too bizarre. It wouldn't fit her core personality, I find. It's your call, but I can't seem to picture Saria as someone that violent.

Hmm...it's hard to pull off. You have to make it seem like, maybe, there's no other possibility other than killing Ganon avaliable. And other things...like...having her stress a lot. In doing so, it's like Lord of the Flies, and the loss of innocence? If you want her to do assassinations, you need to put her as a more innocent character that hires Link to do something out of revenge. Like, she's a rich entrepeneur and Ganon kills her brother, so she decides she wants to kill him. That might work...CGM, your input? And whatdo you think of it Alantie?
