Ideas for fics, In need of some, scab if you want

Well, yeah, that fully works out. In the context of denouncing the crime, however, since she still is a Princess, it might be plausible. Because for these kinds of violent crimes yeah. It actually might work. Never said she had to do it willingly. Or else I'll get her father or something to do it.

Timing...timing...

Okay, let's see...I can envision it going through about ten chapters. If I include a jail break maybe fifteen. Plus a possible prologue and a possible epilogue.

First chapter (possibly prologue) sets atmosphere. Everything is set up, as I quoted.

Second one leaves the options open as to what Zelda would do.

Third one is where she comes to privately talk with the delegate. Initially she says no, then she says yes she'll agree to the program. She sees Link again, since the incident. And she freaks out. Mental breakdown.

Fourth will be a sort of Link chapter, like, present his view.

Fifth, is a group thing, where I introduce a lot of the other characters. I need expanding on the last two. Sorry..

Bingo. That's exactly what I was asking for.

I approve of making it into a medium length fiction. Fifteen chapters should be enough to get into the thick of it without dragging the action. That length will leave space for psychological development and still be short'n'sweet enough that it won't sound like some Russian novel from the Cold War.

I know I made you tweak around a lot. I hope there aren't any hard feelings. Ultimately, this is your story so it's your call, but I was trying to help you out.

Oh. Lawyers. Plenty of concepts begging to be written.

Link and Zelda, laywers for the same firm, keep battling each other to have the best cases... Thus resulting in fights, arguments, repute destruction, and lots of smexy lovin'.

You want ME to write a fic about Zelda and Link as lawyers? What I know about law would fit on the head of a pin! True I watch CSI and Law and Order SVU and Criminal Minds. . . but I don't know about law, lol. Hmm. . . Maybe Link or Zelda is being accused of a crime they didn't commit. And the only one that believes him/or her is the hot sexy lawyer that is handling their case! Mmm? What think ye? Or I could go with your idea CM That one would be fun too.

I like your idea too. If you choose to write any lawyer based story, be sure to run it by us. I know a little about law. Then again, I'm a liberal arts student, but law interests me to a vague extent.

Whatever you choose to write, I hope to read.

Can't help in terms of Canadian or American law systems, but we could make one up, yes? In fact, if you've watched Dead Man Walking, you could make it similar to that.

Most law systems are the same, but their application differs.

And yes, one can afford to take some liberties with law. I did so in OiH.

Er. . . I've never seen Dead Man Walking, so I don't know what happens there, but I swear that my story will have a happy ending. Now, who should supposedly have committed the crime? Link, or Zelda? Whoever didn't gets to be the sexy lawyer!

I figure it's more likely Link would be convicted, but I can easily see him in the sexy lawyer role.

Then again, I think it'd make for an interesting turn that the 'powerful' role would be Zelda's. It allows for some sexist comments from their common adversaries, which could in turn be used to frame those opponents with harassment.

As for crimes that would get Link to court, I'm dry of ideas. Something not too freaky. Like theft or hacking.

Rape? Hmm...Dead Man Walking. I still vote for a parody of that.

Well, yes, DH. And thank goodness Link is sexy in every form. How could he not be? Link associated with something not sexy would cause a rift in space-time continuum.
