*keels over laughing*

I own a 3.1 laptop. It's in black and white. Well, more like black and orange. I play Solitaire on it and I sometimes play Minesweeper on it.

But I certainly prefer my pimped out custom built compy, which I call Iznogoud (it's sarcasm!). I can run Half-Life 2 with maximum graphics on it without trouble! I know. Shocking.

Project Boy and Slim, one of our friends, were talking about PB's 3.1 computer a few weeks back. Slim had tried to install a game on it, and had even succeeded (he's a computer wizz with a nice butt and a cute smile, but don't tell him that). But the computer was so antiquated that to make the game start, you had to enter a command line before the start-up. And to get back to the normal desktop, you had to stop the game, turn the computer off, and start it up again.

As PB said, it was like trying to make a snail race against itself.

Ah 3.1, how I don't miss it tongue.gif

But at the tech support place, the guy sitting next to me was, one day, trying to walk someone through installing something, but the person must not have been that cooperative, because the guy was banging his head against the desk in frustration throughout the entire process. I was actually quite surprised that he actually managed to successfully walk the person through it too blink.gif

Are you sure he walked him through it? Or did the guy on the other end hang up...or something to that effect... giggle.gif

Hmm...

This is another random moment from my life.

My friend came over yesterday; he's a normal guy who likes games (though sadly he has not been introduced to LoZ, owing to his allegiance to PS) and I said to him, after we'd been trying out Star Ocean Three, "Hey, wanna watch a movie?"

So we went to the cinema, got our tickets, and I thought, hey, why don't we watch "Step Up"? It's a dancing movie about a "gangster" guy who goes and starts learning to dance, in short. So, I tell my friend, and he's like, okay. Then I say dancing, and he's like, "Oh, Q#$TY! You never told me that!"

Needless to say, due to his macho male attitude, and inability to dance (other than Saturday night fever...he challenged me to a dance-off after...and the whole thing was watching him do Saturday night fever) he was very uncomfortable.

I don't know why, but whenever I'm on the internet in my room, my brother usually ends up playing video games on my bed. My cat comes too, but she just sleeps.

I can't remember what I was doing, but my brother was talking to the cat. Now, she's really fluffy, so she looks like a fat-ass cat, but she's actually of average weight. Anyway, my brother was being dumb, and so he said to the cat, "You're a chubby kitty!"
And I, not paying attention (and thinking myself insulted), yelled back, "Well, you're a chubby kitty!"
"Uh, I was talking to the cat..." my brother replied.
"...Oh..." I said, going back to whatever the hell it was I was doing.

As such, "chubby kitty" invariably pops up when we have insult fights tongue.gif

!!! ohmy.gif laugh.gif

My brother used to insult our bunny in the same way!

When I chose her for my tenth b-day, she fit in the palm of my hand, because she was a baby bunny (so fuzzy!!!!! *squee*), but then she found out about the joy of carrots and lettuce, and she started eating and growing, and she matured to adult-size.

My brother (who shifts between hyperactivity and catatonia easily) would come up from the basement where he would have been playing Warcraft for hours, would glance at my bunny, say "Fatty bunny!" and return to his immobile gamer state downstairs. Just like that. Without even having a reason to come upstairs.

Out of my two best friends, Elle is the shortest. She's maybe an inch shorter than me, and I'm an inch shorter than Emma, but we always make it out like Elle's a friggen midget, because it's funny to piss her off XD
A while ago we were at some store getting candy for a party we were going to have that night, and Elle was being kind of immature, and so, being a smart ass, I said to her, "Act your age, not your height!" and the cashier just started laughing (It was funnier because Emma and I were wearing shoes with heels while Elle had flat shoes, making her look even shorter).
Elle still gets pissed off about that XD

There's a Korean guy in our school, came this year, he's fairly popular and all.

But there's just something really funny about him.

Every time we're in class, he falls asleep. Like, deep asleep. And he doesn't wake up, unless we shake him. And even then, he sometimes doesn't wake up. He just keeps on sleeping, really quietly...

So, we're watching a video in class, and all of us watch crash test dummies fly out of seats and broken cars, and nod our heads in agreement; Dropbears are a local hazard in our area. Then the video ends.

There's our little Korean friend in the second row, dozing, head on arms, sound asleep. Everyone in the class cracks up, and teachers starts giggling (she's like...20 something year old sports teacher, really nice) and she's like, "Can you wake him up?"

So we all go and wake him up. He sits up, and then, rather comically, he suddenly pulls out the sheet we were working out beforehand (before said video) and begins working on it in an effort to look as though he's doing work.

It took a full ten seconds before he realised that we were supposed to be listening to the teacher.

I swear, it was heaps funny....biggrin.gif

I had a guy in my class like that, except he wasn't funny, just gross, because he would drool and fart in his sleep x_x

Oh, hehe, but the other day I went to a Halloween party with some friends, till some time around four in the morning. Anyway, after that we went to a Tim Hortons (those places in Canada that sell the donuts and coffee) because we were low on caffeine and sugar, and we wanted Ice Caps. Anyway, we were sitting there, all six of us girls in costume, when this guy who went to the same party (and equally still costumed) comes up to us and asks if any of us have a lighter. We didn't and we told him as such, so he replies with, "You don't smoke? No? Too bad, because you're already smokin'!"
The line was so bad, I burst into laughter XD
