YES!!..I have always agreed with you and the other girls that the emotional connection Link and Zelda formed in OOT COULD lead to traditional romance as adults in the Child Timeline. I have never denied that. I only prefer LinkxMalon more because IMO Link would be the provider/comforter in that relationship instead of Zelda being the provider/comforter in the LinkxZelda. I don't see how that makes me sexist or disrespecting women at all.

If I actually met you in real person I would like to think that I would treat you with the respect that you deserved. You seem to be intelligent and I actually admire that about you. Remember..we are debating over fictional video game characters and I think we take these discussion/debates a little too seriously sometimes. We didn't say that we want you to die a tragic death, but in order for us to respect you, you have to respect us. In order to respect me, you'd have to respect the fact that I am a strong, very independant female. You'd also have to display that everything is equal, especially now, among sexes. That means that a woman can provide for a guy just as he can provide for her, so that isn't really a strong argument that you're using to support the Malink pairing. Link shouldn't be with Malon just because he can provide for her; there would have to be proof that there's something more and there's not. Zelink can provide for each other equally, emotionally and psychologically. Also, if you think of it this way, Zelda would be providing Link with a nice home and a nice title (as well as unconditional love), but Link would be offering Zelda protection and companionship (and again, unconditional love).

Anyway, I don't hate you or anything, it's just you can annoy me at times when you're not showing me any respect, or when you're not showing others any respect. If you show me the respect, I'll respect you, which means that you cannot accuse me of saying something that I didn't say.

Mkay, I don't know if you guys noticed, but I've been granted temporary mod status until Existance: Denied or one of the other Mods/Admin are able to dedicate more time to the forum. Never played OoA but I have played MC, and FSA.

She seemed the exact same personality in MC: down to her frustration with her father, who took off but locked the ranch up. She is standing outside the door frustrated, and Talon returns to realize he locked the key in the house. He's the same friendly yet lazy guy too. Malon going to Hyrule Town to sell Milk reminds me of her in the Market Place in OoT...she's singing too.

Malon in FSA is found in one level. ( levels, one huge reason why that game sucks )
Link x4 finds her fretting because she's trying to get home to "Papa" and a bunch of evil soldiers are blocking the way. You have to escort her past them ( if she or you die you lose a life ) in order to receive Epona ( and three other horses for Link's clones ) and proceed past the jumps blocked the way forward. You don't see her again till the ending collage of Hyrule's people where she is riding a horses with Talon.

Since we have been talking shipping, I should probably mention that both are what I'd consider quite Zelink.

So is MC Link OOT/MM Link, WW Link, or a totally different Link?? I'm not very savvy on timelines so forgive my ignorance.

He's an entirely different Link, with no direct sequel. His design is that of WW Link though, as is FSA's Link. ( Note that a few believe MC ( and FSA ) predate OoT on the timeline. )

So then, her role in MC is pretty minor then, I take it? How would you compare it to her OoT role, for example?

On the timeline thing- I'm not sure what they're saying about MC and FSA that would make it predate OoT, but from my understanding, OoT has always been the key point because it was when the Triforce split. Is the Triforce even referenced or shown in MC and FSA? Or Ganon? If any of those are, I highly doubt that they could predate OoT since it's. . . well, the beginning of everything essentially. But yeah- I think there should be a timeline thread to discuss this if we want to move this part of the discussion over there. ^^

Oh yeah, it's minor. She stands outside her home fretting about being locked out, you unlock it and she goes to stand the entire time selling milk in Hyrule Town. So what, 2-3 lines of dialogue altogether? She has way more to say in OoT.
