In your own words (it doesn't have to be a paragraph) explain why do you love OOT Ok, where do I begin.... Everything about this game is awsome from the characters to the music to the locations to the... ya get the idea I mostly def love the music in the game. I also love the characters in the game though I wish they had bigger roles like Link and Zelda did. I hated how they would create the same character desgin from other town, it's like I'm seeing twins or more. The battle engine is breath-taking, who doesn't love to slash evil monsters or throw bombs or arrows and so forth. I love the etxra stuff you can do in the game and mini games aswell. The best part about the game would be dressing up Link... If I grew tried of that green outfit I would throw on the red or blue suit (forgot the name, I'm slow xD) The boots were fun but sometimes the Iron Boots are a pain because he walks terribly slow. I also loved fishing in the game. I would try so hard to bait a LARGE fish to obtain a heart token, gotta love those heart token in the game. Another thing I loved is the big link and small link and time periods in the game. I mostly enjoyed the small link because the world didn't look evil or sad but the big link had more options around the area. OMG, I really loved to play around with the sword, I just loved seeing the short movie of link putting down the sword or pulling it out. I LOVED riding Epona, though I wished you can ride her when you were little (Darn it) I loved riding that horse because Hydra (sp?) is such a large land and I'm tired of walking to one town to another. Epona is such a golly cute horse.

Well, I found it so challenging I scabbed its walkthrough. Then I loved it so much, I memorised from the walkthrough how to beat each temple. C'mon! But yeah. Epona was great-it added new methods of transportation and really added a mini-game with the Big Poes. The enemies were varied and reasonable-challenging to a certain extent but not impossible, and it made the whole adventure exciting. The Teen Years and the temples were some of the scariest crap I encountered as a kid-I never watched horror movies. And I bought the original. Not Master Quest.

*sigh*... Ah, this is one of my favorite games ever. I don't know what clicked when I played it for the very first time when I was a little eight-year-old. I think I had a fancy for fantasy that took place in that particular time period. I had known about Legend of Zelda since I was three though, thanks to A Link to the Past, but since it was 2D, it was hard for me to imagine the world in reality (hey, I was three). When I first saw Ocarina of Time I immediately fell in love with it. I enjoyed the story line, the puzzles, and the whole look of everything. I don't remember having a hard time with the game other than the water temple, and that was because I couldn't find one stupid key. -.-;;; I also remember when I first saw Link as an adult! My brothers and I all said, "WHOAAAAAA!!!!" and I was so fascinated that his voice changed. XD Oh! And not to mention that's where my ZeLink belief started to kick off. Seriously, when I first saw the scene when they were in the clouds I thought, "Oh no, they're going to kiss" (I covered my eyes when people kissed, still XD). Now I wish they had so I could show the screenshot to the whole world and scream "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" So AmayaSaria, I originally played it on the good ol' 64... But I have so many versions of the game now. O_o

Haha, the first time I played this game was last year, when I downloaded the ROM off the internet XD But as I've subsequently managed to buy a copy of the game for the N64, I'm not doing anything illegal now But, as others have said, what isn't there to love in this game? The story is interesting and engrossing, playing up the traditional Hero/Villain/Princess dynamic but remaking it at the same time. The in-game world is immersive, with a history and mythology spanning centuries. Despite graphics that are nowhere near today’s standards, the scenery is still beautiful, and locations and objects are full of little details that make it all seem so much more alive. Characters in the game, even minor characters with no relevance to the plot, are well thought out, each with their own unique personality. The dungeons and challenges are also well thought out. The puzzles in particular are a strong point: too easy and they would seem pointless, too hard and they would lead to nothing but frustration. They straddle the line between the two, so when you finally figure something out, you feel like you've done something really fantastic. Everything in this game is enthralling, from the epic boss battles, to the side-quests for hearts, rupees and a horse I could go on for days, but I think the fact that it's listed as one of the greatest games of all time speaks for itself
