Incarnation - "Assumption of human form or nature; embodied in flesh" Incarnation is when something (immortal, I'm assuming) takes human shape or an Incarnate, like a Misery Incarnate, a Love Incarnate or a Devil Incarnate. Reincarnation is when something has died and the soul has been reborn into another or new body. An example is Kagome Higurashi being the Preistess Kikyo's reincarnation. Sorry, that was the best example I could've thought of right now xD

The way I always thought about it was like this: Ganondorf cannot die because he has the Triforce of Power. The Ganondorf in all the games is the same Ganny. So shouldn't something of the same apply to Link and Zelda? Perhaps they can be killed, but their spirits always return to fight Ganny, because they are all tied to the fate of the Triforce. That's just how I've always seen it.

If they were, Zelda would have to be reborn into her own descendant's body and that's just wrong. Or the same Link would love different Zeldas, and that's not right either. The goddesses always create a new Link and Zelda to fight Ganon when he returns to power. For example, the Hero of Time is a completely different person from the Hero of Winds. New Zelda game = Brand new Link and Zelda, body and soul I don't know why you would argue it... it's much nicer that way anyway. More interesting too. Where is that DANG interview when I need it?!?

Actually, that's debatable too. Because at several points its hinted that this Link is the same one, particularly after your fight with Puppet Ganon when Ganondorf says to Link: "Its just as I thought. You ARE the Hero of Time reborn."

I really think the whole reincarntaion thing should be made a thread. If you don't do it DH, I will
