Welcome to Right Here Waiting For You, named after the song by Richard Marx, a club for KenshinxKaoru lovers. Kenshin and Kaoru share a romance that goes almost beyond words to describe. It's a realtionship of understanding, of deep love, sacrifice and waiting. Kaoru is often waiting for Kenshin, whether its for him to come rescue her, to come back home from a journey, or simply waiting for him to tell her his feelings. She shows great patience and faith in him, knowing that no matter where Kenshin goes, spiritually or physically, he will come back to her. So if you love this couple as much as I do, please join!

Oooh, thankies for the link to that story, I shall spend today reading it and let you know what I think, though by the look of things I believe I shall enjoy it immensley!

EDIT: OMG. Amaya!!! GRAHHH!! I just finished reading Broken Pieces, and I swear I'm going to tear my hair out!! That was both the best and worst fanfic ever. HOW COULD SHE END IT THAT WAY?!?!?!?!?! Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!! *falls into hysterical weeping* Freak. . . I'm going to be going crazy about that for weeks!!! Blast, why can't Ken-san ever get a decent happy ending? *slinks off to hug Kenshin*

Oh my! Hahahaha. You scared me when I got the PM. I was afraid you hated it! Yes its good story....luckily....She started Complete Me, the SEQUEL to Broken Pieces. Its not so bad so far^^; But she hasn't updated it in awhile. So maybe that will keep you content for awhile. But it was a beautiful story, no?

I think I may reread it. The ending ALWAYS makes me cry.

Man. I love that story. So sweet, but so sad. *sigh*

But KxK, I love Kaoru. She may seem childish, but she really is wise on the inside. I think Broken Pieces did a good job with her character. Actually, just about everything in that was right on the dot^^

I like the idea of the Battousai/Kaoru relationship. Like, Kaoru seems like the only one who can control Kenshin.

But Kenshin and Kaoru is still great too. Kenshin is so dopey...but there are times when he's so sweet towards her...and its just a nice relationship =D I love how Kaoru isn't afraid of Kenshin no matter what....so cute...~!

No, no, I love discussing this fanfiction with you! There's so much substence to it, I could talk about it for days! I agree with you, Kaoru's character was so well done in that story. She may be childish at times, but she has an inner strength and beauty that I just love.

Grah, there has to be some Kenshin Kaoru forums!! *starts looking frantically* If I was computer savvy, I'd start my own, but alas for my sad state

I've always kind of seen Battousai and Kenshin as being basically the same person, just different shades of him. Maybe that's just me, but I had never considered Battousai to be a seperate being from Kenshin, so when I first started reading some fanfiction, I was all confused! I like Battousai/Kaoru cause there's that dangerous edge to it, but he's so sweet and kind in his way, and she does wonders with 'taming' him And then Kenshin/ Kaoru is so safe and kind, and he's just so worshipful of her. *sighs dreamily*

l0lz I don't think that far, it'd ruin the whole story. But what about Tomoe... I mean she did a lot for Kenshin too. -looks around at probably angry people- Just a thought. l0lz But no... sometimes it pisses me off the times that Kaoru waits and Kenshin, a little grr... just hurry and go to your girl man! l0lz Woo...

Ahhh, Tomoe. I think she was important to Kenshin in a lot of ways. She did help him, and in her way, she did love him. I think loving Kenshin helped her to heal a lot of the pain and anger inside her about the death of her fiancee (can't remember his name for the like of me. Akiko or something like that?). In turn, she made Kenshin think about the pain he caused those left behind, and helped him learn about life outside of battle. But when it comes down to it. . . their love was based on a lot of lies and deciet, mostly on Tomoe's end. Not that you can really blame the girl, but still. You can't have a marriage/romance based on that. And also. . . I feel in my heart that Kenshin loves Kaoru more than Tomoe, just like I feel Tomoe loves her fiancee dude more. Tomoe and Kenshin I feel share a deep bond, but not on a romantic level. More as best friends who were once lovers. You know? Does that make sense? I'm not dismissing Tomoe. She had a lot of impact on Kenshin, but I don't think she was Kenshin's soul mate the way Kaoru is.

Lol. Kenshin doesn't want Kaoru to be hurt. He leaves to protect the girl. *rolls eyes* Men can be so dense!
