Now why would she do that? Blackmail is fun! happy.gif

Now....for some random advice question...

Do you think its acceptable to dump someone over the phone/text/email rather than face-to-face? (afterall, face-to-face would be kinda awkward).

(What do you know, I asked a question that wasn't about link......he said he was here to give advice, and I'm interested in his opinion..

My...I have to admit, you're always a bit better after hacking those-

Oh. Oops...

WHAT incriminating photographs are these? angry.gif Link, what are you hiding from me?

And yes, anything that is wrong is your fault, because you weren't there in time to stop it...I thought you were a Hero...

sad.gif

*sighs*

I guess I have to stop using my creepy magics after all...especially after the last one summoned a skunk into my bedroom...

Breaking things up with past loves is never easy. You'll often find that people take rejection like a personal insult that they absolutely must right. It's likely, if you are the one doing the breaking, that he continues to pursue you for a little while, questioning you and your motives, testing you to see if you are serious or not and whether you really intend to leave him behind (which, in anyone's book, is a depressing concept).

On this I would still suggest facing the person as opposed to leaving them a note. Not only does it prove you are strong and unafraid, but it also proves that you fully take responsibility for the break-up and will not back down. As practical as long-distance conversation might be, it does not convey the same strength and conviction that real conversations do.

Now of course if said person is completely unavailable and halfway across the world, lack of choice permits such leave-takings, but odds are you aren't so far apart.

Don't be afraid to explain yourself in all sincerity to them. Not only will it make things LESS awkward, it will also allow the two of you to remain on speaking terms. And he/she will consider you with more respect and patience in the future.

On a last note, I would suggest avoiding accusations during that talk. Stray away from confrontation. There might be a time to point out his/her flaws, and there might be a time for you to demean yourself, but it is not during a break-up. You are even, you owe nothing to one another, and neither of you is better or worse than the other. If you remember that, odds are the conversation will remain bearable.

Don't get me wrong: it won't be pleasant. But it will be less awkward than having to face him/her afterwards in school or at work without really knowing where you stand anymore. Talk it over in person. Don't make your conclusion a cliff-hanger.

Zelda, you don't want to know. Trust me. You don't. sleep.gif

Thanks Link! happy.gif

The main problem was that he broke up with me over text right before we had to spend 4 hours together at a dance held by his school. Yeah. That was fun -__-

As I ignored him at that dance (he's lucky I didn't do more and kick him like my friend did laugh.gif) we didn't speak then, and he rang me about two weeks later (but nothing was accomplished then either). We're still not really speaking, and I have no idea where we stand. Nor do I really want to talk to him again - if he treats me like that, I'm better off without him smile.gif

And I shall stop complaining there, before I really start whining about the problem.

Quick, someone think of another question before I start ranting ninja.gif

Umm....

What did you think of the Oracles (Secrets, Ages, Seasons)? Or didn't you get much chance to talk to any of them? (I haven't finished those games, so I don't know if you get a long conversation with them at the end or something...)

Hm, you're right. If he's the jerk, he doesn't deserve any further attention. I'm sorry he treated you that way; just keep in mind that it's not right to behave as he did and that what matters most is that your friends stood by you.

Ah, the Oracles. I think the mangas did a pretty good job of rendering what I thought about them. That is, they exaggerated a little about me liking Din so much, but hey, whatever sells, as the Happy Mask Man says.

I still keep in touch with them. Generally, Farore makes an enthusiastic but really embarrassing comment, I get into an argument with Din, and Nayru eventually tells us all to calm down. It's a strange chemistry, but I enjoy their company.

Can you describe a "numb pain"? I'm not quite getting you there.

Between these soft drinks, which one do you prefer?

FUZE
Coke
Sprite
Pepsi
(Other) ie. Hylian Cola or something...

Have you done acting? If you have tell us about your experiences in the acting business and your role in the production. If you haven't, tell us if you have/had aspirations to get into this business and why you have/had them.

Also, do you feel annoyed about the fact that Ganondorf is on these forums now? Do you think he may find some way to escape back into this realm through the internet? (which sounds impossible, but he does really have nothing better to do...)

"Numb pain" is when something hurts but not sharply. Like growing pains. Haven't you had those? I've had them more often than I can count. Like someone pulling on your bones and forcing you to walk, I guess.

My favourite soft drink would have to be Goronade.

As for acting, I wouldn't have time. It's entertaining, but the stage business isn't mine to conquer. I enjoyed being Mikau in the Indigo-Go's, though. I just wouldn't make a career from it.

And Ganon is on these forums??

Link....try not to get him too mad. We would like to keep this forum intact...so try not to antagonise him too much so as to start another epic battle.....

Do you think he has some chance of escape? Or are we simply safe because we have you and Zelda? biggrin.gif

Oh, no, Zelda's magic is foolproof. That's what makes her so darned special.

And I won't antagonize him too much, but I might poke him from time to time. With a Deku Stick. smile.gif

Wow, Link, you think Ganondorf will blow a fuse if you poke him enough?
