Well then, a happier question:

You know all those games in Ocarina of Time - Archery, bombchus, treasure chest etc? Did you have to go through those a lot of times, or are you just so skilled that you got through them all first go?

And did you cheat with the Lens of Truth for the treasure chest one in Hyrule Castle Market, or just rely on luck?

Okay, here's a more cheerful question, which is also in addition to the last two questions.

What was your favorite of the mini games in Ocarina of Time?

Ah, mini-games from OoT. My favourite was the slingshot shooting gallery. I was good at that, and I always made lots of money. Practical and fun.

I didn't cheat in the treasure chest game! ... Much.

And I have to say, without bragging, that I was pretty good in general at mini-games. Must be a blood/destiny thing that I would be so good at things so essential to my quest. Don't get me wrong: sometimes I had to re-try, and I have to admit the Bombchu bowling was MADDENING, but through perseverance and a strict refusal to admit defeat, I eventually reaped all the prizes. biggrin.gif

Let me be rhetorical: how do you feel when you beat a Legend of Zelda game?

happy.gif

Bittersweet but elated; hungry for more.

Right?

Well, they have to keep the games as low-rated as possible, don't they?

How's this for reflection: what makes you think I didn't get some? laugh.gif

... Oh, I think I wasn't supposed to say that... blink.gif

Oh yeah, I remember my question now. Did you find the owl that followed you around in Oot kinda creepy? Or was that just me?

Well, it would be a little unhealthy for me to indulge voyeurs. It's already heavy enough in fanfiction, do I really need to...

This conversation is getting a little awkward. Do I have to apologize or something? Is there fine print I don't know about?

As for Kaepora Gaebora (the owl), I have to say that while some of his information was useful, and some of his lifts were more than useful, he was a bit verbose on the side, and it could get a little annoying, especially when you're on a quest to save the world and time is of the essence and all that.

But hey, how many people would stop to listen to a talking owl? Old man was getting a little lonely and all. I tried to give him my time when he needed it. That's what I'm all about. Using time to help people. smile.gif

Actually, Link, it's an advice column. You should be giving advice. Not making excuses. So nope. rolleyes.gif

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed by the absence of romantic material in Twilight Princess, but I'm sure you got your rewards behind the scenes, you naughty man. wink.gif

Ah, now I understand who Kaepora is, and understand why CM made him the way she did in her fanfiction (which was awesome, by the way biggrin.gif)

I remember trying to get around the owl, but it doesn't work. He was useful, but a tad annoying. Oh well, I survived.

I'm not sure if this has already been asked, but how old are you? The current form of you we are talking to, not the sum of your incarnations or anything.

(and no, I don't expect you to answer which incarnation you are. That would be confusing.....maybe you're a new incarnation who came around to answer our questions? tongue.gif)

I was born in 1986, with the very first game. So I'm 21 years old, as is. Truth is, I lose track sometimes. With all my incarnations messing up the numbers, it's not easy remembering. So rather than make a new estimate every time, I just go for the official date (Japanese release of The Legend of Zelda, on Feb 21st, 1986).

I know, I'm young to be fighting the forces of evil. happy.gif

Ah well, nothing wrong with being 21. It just means you're of age in most places, and you can go into bars and get drunk, [sarcasm]because I'm sure you do that all the time[/sarcasm] rolleyes.gif

But back to the questions, out of all the times you've defeated Ganon/dorf, which time was the most satisfying? And which would be your favourite boss battle(s)?
