Um.

You mean, how will I ask Zelda, the princess of Hyrule, holder of the Triforce of Wisdom, who happens to be well-versed in martial and magic arts, to marry me?

Are you insane? Knowing her, it'd be a sneak attack on me. I wouldn't put it past her.

In all seriousness, Amaya, I simply don't know. I've never really, um, thought about that. Yet. Until now.

Before anything, Zelda and I agree that Hyrule comes first. It would be risky for its hero to settle down. What if something bad happened? I'd have to leave again.

In due time, perhaps, Zelda will ambush me-- I mean, we'll make that decision.

Me? Ambush you? Please, Link, don't lower my methods to such dishonorable tactics. The only time I ever do that is when you're showering...though it's well worth it...

biggrin.gif

Actually, I also have something to ask you. What did you want for your birthday this year? I must start getting a present of some kind ready...

Dear me...

LINK! Did you steal my make-up set again?!?! Impa will kill me if I don't have it with me-Oh, just give it back!

ohmy.gif blink.gif I didn't steal your make-up set (again? I don't recall the last time I might have decided to cross-dress). What in the world would I do with that?? Ask someone suspicious, like Nabooru or something. Do I look like the kind of guy who wears eye-shadow?

And you know I don't want anything for my birthday. The joy of your company is enough. smile.gif

Then again, Zelda, why do you feel the compunction to spread rumours like this online? We see each other practically every day! Can't you ask me, I don't know. In person?? It would spare me the embarrassment.

Though it's probably your way of torturing me for yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised. dry.gif

Yes, Link. You do like the kind to put eye-shadow on. It makes you more lovable!

biggrin.gif

And yes, I am paying you back for yesterday! Can't I get a real man who can save Hyrule, rescue me from Ganon (for the seventh time) and still get the groceries back to the Castle on time? I really should get my servants on the last one...

Hi, Link.

At some point or another, we've all been afraid of death. Have you ever been afraid of death? What are your thoughts on it?

Wow, you really go for intense subjects, huh? tongue.gif

Death is part of life. I want to say that first, because that's a thing a lot of people seem to forget. Death isn't the antithesis of life or represent a terrible fate. It is the only fate. So often people speak in the terms of "if I die" rather than "when I die". I know that the former is more optimistic than the latter, but the reason people fear death to begin with is that they don't know it or accept that it is inevitable.

Bearing the Triforce of Courage is in itself the certitude that I must face all challenges, even the fear of death. Having skirted around the fact itself so often, and having given it to more than a few, I can safely say that I am acquainted with death, more so than most people.

Perhaps for that reason, I have become acceptant of my own mortality and have vowed to live every moment completely. Therefore, knowing death is an end does not frighten me or upset me. It is just a deadline I intend to accept when it comes.

In the meantime, I will fully appreciate what I have: life, friends, love and freedom.

That's good to know. I'm sure there're a lot of people who want to say that they've lived life to the fullest when they're on their deathbed.

Yay! My turn. How would you feel if Dark Link bewitched/deceived Zelda that he was you (the good one) and married her to hurt you? Also, are you ever romantic with Zelda? We girls like romance, you know...

(Hey, I just realized something. I'm Wisdom_triforce...does that mean I'm the goddess of wisdom or something...How does that work??! O.o)

Dark would not bewitch Zelda and marry her. The plan wouldn't work, that's all. There are two reasons it wouldn't work:

1. Zelda is the Holder of the Triforce of Wisdom. To say she knows everything and more is kind of obvious.

2. I keep beating Dark to a bloody pulp every time he shows his (admittedly gorgeous, thank you) face. You'd think the perpetual shiner and the red eyes (all my work, I swear!) would be a tell-tale sign.

That said, Dark doesn't seek long-term relationships. He's, ah, allergic to them I think. And he isn't dumb enough to subject himself to a married life for all eternity, even if it is to hurt me. An evil villain has got to draw the line of self-torture somewhere, after all.

And romance... well, I'm a commoner who hacks things up for a living. I try, but you can't exactly expect roses and sparkling wine every day of the week, if you see what I mean.

As per your screenname, I don't know. You're the one who chose it. All I know is that the goddess of wisdom is Nayru, and that she tries not to be usurped most of the time (you're lucky you didn't name yourself Power_Triforce: Din would have shredded you to pieces already, I reckon). But I don't think power comes from a name. I think it comes from being who you want to be.

....Wow. Thanks for answering. ....Are you sure you're not Triforce of Wisdom, because that last paragrapgh had wisdom in it. And I'm sorry, I didn't know about Dark Link's physical features, as my *lovely NOT* brother broke my Nintendo system and therefore could get that far in the game....Oh and speaking of which, do you know if Nintendo 64 is still out there? If so, I'd like to buy it and make sure my little brother doesn't come within one inch of it.

And, I'm sorry, one more thing. Don't you think the programmers ever think to give you some sort of armor? I mean, if I were your enemy, I go for shots that hurt the most.

*checks* Yup, I'm not the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom. Still holding on to my special piece of shiny Courage.

Dark Link looks like me. He's my shadow, my reflection, my what-have-you. And I like to think I'm good looking, without being pretentious or anything. You don't need to play the games to understand who Dark is.

The N64 is no longer in distribution; neither is the Gamecube, I believe. Now you can only purchase the Wii in chain stores. Though I suppose you can obtain second-hand consoles online or in specialized stores. However, I'd suggest buying a Nintendo Wii and downloading the N64 games with the virtual console. It'd spare you a lot of wiring and effort.

I do have an armour in TP (i.e. chain mail), and *spoilers* I have the magic armour on top of the other two tunics. *end spoilers* That said, being a professional hero pretty much protects me from most injuries. I'm that good. cool.gif

Haha, I know who Dark is, I just didn't know if he looked exactly like you. I've seen a lot of pictures of him with black hair, red eyes and with blond hair and blue eyes but with a black tunic. It gets sort of confusing, you know?

Oh, no more N64? Pity. I'll have to look up the price of the Nwii and see if I can beg my parents for it for Christmas....Fat chance but worth trying.

Wow, that's cool. I suppose being a perfessional does help with avoiding most wounds. By the way, in the OoT Manga, you look better there than in all of the others and better than most of your cartoon/game incarnations. Though you kicked some major butt in all of the games and comics. Keep up the great work.

Well, actually Dark looks like me, except with black skin, black hair, red eyes, and, sometimes, reversed hand preference (right as opposed to left).

Thank you for the compliments, by the way. link1.gif

Hey, Link, it's me again!

I was wondering... how painful was it exactly to change into a wolf? Did it feel like you were breaking bones or something? (Because I assume they must have been moving.) And how in the world were you able to transform into a wolf again and again without screaming later on? Did you get used to the pain?

Changing into a wolf WAS painful. My bones didn't break or anything, but... have you ever experienced growing pains? Often the most painful growing pains are when your legs grow longer during teen years. The pain lasts for a couple of days then subsides, right?

Well, changing into a wolf was basically like growing pains, except all over the body. Some bones grew longer, others shorter, and generally my muscles had to adjust to the change...

The reason I didn't scream is that I only scream when I feel acute pain; changing into a wolf was more of a numb pain that makes me cringe.
