It just sickens me though, when you see younger and younger kids dressing sluttier and/or gangsta-ier. Not to sound old, but when I was their age, my parent's would never have let me dress as scantily as most nine-year-olds these day. Hell, I don't dress like that now, and I'm legally an adult (mentally, of course, is another matter)!

Same here. Has the message about the inner you being valuable completely died out? These kids need to be taught better. ( I'm a parent now, so you'd better bet my daughter won't be dressing like that. )
On a side Zelda-y note...that's exactly why I like the Princess so much. She's totally beautiful...but not remotely slutty. And you can totally tell that her beauty comes from the inside too. That's what I call a role model for girls.
Anyways, back to the chat: I get the feeling parents aren't around half the time to see what their kids are wearing.
