I'm feeling very tired as today was my first day back at school. Bleh. >_< I have to buy more books for my classes. Fun fun. But other than that, I'm doing very well, thank you for asking Amaya-chan!

Well, I suppose iPods are the fad, but I didn't get it because its popular or anything. I got it because I have tons of music and needed something to put it on. I hardly ever get anything that's insanely popular, mainly because I just don't really WANT the popular things. This was one of the exepctions. Others are for things like Harry Potter (though I liked it BEFORE it became so popular/screwed up), FF, and KH. So there.

Well, the MP3 I had wouldn't let you do all that it would make you wait till 1 song was up so I used to put my favorite songs first. >_< But I have PSP now so I really have no use for it. xD

I shall revive this chat!!! Sooo...school's starting on August 25th here and I'm going to high school. noooooooooooooooooooo! Yeah, probably not as bad as college/university, but I'm afraid that I'm going to be late to my classes because I get lost. So...i'm waiting for my mom to get home so that we can go to Barnes&Nobles so that I can read more InuYasha (I just started reading yesterday). What are you all up to?

So, anyone dressing up for Halloween?

Well, I didn't actually dress up. I just wore black clothes, my Evenstar pendant, and put on my black and silver cape. Woo! Then went to a friend's house for a Halloween party where we watched a nonscary movie. XD

Well, at least you didn't dress up like most of the girls I saw. "Whore" was a very popular choice of costume this year >.o

Guh, what's wrong with people? Doesn't anyone have class anymore?

No kidding. I'm just appaled by the new lows people sink to every day. Show as much skin as you can- leave nothing to the imagination! SEXSEXSEX. Don't people think about anything else? Sheesh.

Well, that's not entirely true. They do think about drugs and violence sometimes too.

It just sickens me though, when you see younger and younger kids dressing sluttier and/or gangsta-ier. Not to sound old, but when I was their age, my parent's would never have let me dress as scantily as most nine-year-olds these day. Hell, I don't dress like that now, and I'm legally an adult (mentally, of course, is another matter)!

It's like parents have gone stupid or something. They'll let their kids get away with damn near anything.

Same here. Has the message about the inner you being valuable completely died out? These kids need to be taught better. ( I'm a parent now, so you'd better bet my daughter won't be dressing like that. )

On a side Zelda-y note...that's exactly why I like the Princess so much. She's totally beautiful...but not remotely slutty. And you can totally tell that her beauty comes from the inside too. That's what I call a role model for girls.

Anyways, back to the chat: I get the feeling parents aren't around half the time to see what their kids are wearing.

Gosh, I know. When I was their age I would never have been let out of the house looking like that- I wouldn't even own something like that. I mean, seriously. And yeah, I think part of the problem might be that parents aren't home near enough anymore to take an interest in their lives, but society as a whole has made the slutty/gangster look so much more acceptable and it's just sad. I can barely find any clothing anymore that doesn't look like something a hooker would wear. It's horrible!!!

You're so right there. There's nothing remotely slutty about her outfit, and she's got a beautiful strong personality- that's the kind of role model girls should have, and not people like. . . Paris Hilton or whoever.
