umm...what's the difference between tp for Wii ((the new nintendo system)) and game cube. i think the one for wii might have more stuff cause like, well, Resident Evil 4 for gc had less stuff then the one for ps2, and the one for ps2 came out later so it had more stuff.

the tp for wii comes out later so i'm sure they'll have more stuff...

((sorry about the comfusion thread, but i still wanna know))

As a matter of fact, Aonuma clearly stated that both versions would be identical as far as game elements are concerned. The plot won't be different, there won't be any new quests. It's the exact same game.

The only difference lies in the actual way you play it. The Wii offers spacial actions with a widescreen view, while the Gamecube plays it as it always has, with the basic controller and a regular screen.

Whether you buy a version or the other depends on how you want to play the game, nothing else. It also depends on how much money you have for next-gen consoles. If you're broke, just keep the Cube.

Also, both versions will be released at the exact same time: at the launch of Wii. There are no delays. To put space between the versions would kill Wii's launch: it'd sell more GC disks than Wii disks.

You can check all this information. It's from IGN.com.

Oh but check this out. On the GameCube a certain place will be on the left and then when you go to play it on the Wii, the place is on the right!! Everything is backwards, well reverse? But yeah, and on the WII Link is frikken right-handed!! Ugh! But still, you carry more items on the WII then on the GC version. l0lz

The wii version of Twilight Princess is mirrored, and that's pretty much the biggest difference there is between it, and the GC version. There's also the controls though, and might I just say that I freaking love the wii-mote. I caught myself swinging and shaking the GC controller after I had gotten so used to the wii-mote, lol.

Oh, and I thought I was the only one!!! hug.gif

I haven't played the GCN version of Twilight Princess, but I've been told that pretty much the worlds are mirrored, including the fact that Link is ambidexterous. laugh.gif But there is no changes to the story, no changes to the character positions, everything else is the same. I think Aonuma said that somewhere, but I forgot when. CM, could you provide a link to that interview? laugh.gif

Oh really? Does that mean the GCN version has less items than the Wii, or does that mean you cannot hold as much Empty Bottles? giggle.gif

I think she meant that you can't add as many items to the GCN controls as you could the Wii-mote. You know, how you have to set the items to the joypad (in the wii)? The GCN differs in that sense. The items overall though are exactly the same.
