Title: Knots

Dark_Zelda - June 27, 2006 04:35 AM (GMT)
Okay. This is one game in where it looks so friggin awesome with the graphics and all, that Link and Zelda should finally tie this freaking knot they have with each other. I MEAN SOME KISSING OR SOMETHING??? I think it would be cool that in the end that they have a wedding or something. And so not this Links dies Bullcrap I keep hearing. It's totally pissing me off.

Besides from that. I want to ride a cow on the game and be able to kill a cow. :D
I couldn't do it on OOT or MM or any other Zelda game for that matter that had cows in them. Whats wrong with a little cow violence??? I mean at least let me hurt them like with the Cuccos and have them attack me or something. I would love the milk duds to attack me. Moo baby Moo. *cough* Ah yeah, so anyways.

I hope the bring back all the characters from all the games. Like the Gorons, Zoras, Kokiri, Rito, etc. I would love to see them all in these awesome Zeldaly graphics they got going on in this new game. B)

Another thing. I saw one of the trailers for TP and I saw the skull kid from MM, or at least I believe it was him. Is he going to be evil or something??? I really really hope not. I loved the skull kid. NOZ!!!

I also saw kittens. DAW. I love kittens. Link and Kittens is hot! Two of my most favorite things being combined together to equal total hotness. I melt in my pants.

Well I must Depart for Lake Hylia to go fishing. They call to me.

Yes. Whatever you said. You have said it all. Please repeat.

Oh for the love of Pete. Link won't die. Just because TP is more mature doesn't mean they're gonna turn it into a sappy tragedy, for bloody sake.

And also, I believe we've established that Nintendo would never do the mistake of alienating a large part of its fandom by giving a pairing more attention. And they're also trying to avoid sappiness.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a fervent Zelinker, but let's get real here. It won't happen. It's best not to get our hopes up. Link and Zelda will not have a steamy love scene. It's best to just gather all the clues scattered in the game. It won't be blatant. To expect that will only cause disappointment.

I think, on the other hand, that cow mobs would be totally cool. :D Unfortunately, if sitting on Epona was the best way to avoid being killed by cuckoos because she made you invincible, I fear what this newfound horseback vulnerability will do to the world of animal slashing. :ph43r:

As for bringing back characters, it's proven that the Gorons are back. It can be assumed that the Zoras are too, as Gorons and Zoras are practically always thrown in together. More specifically, I hope they'll have included characters from OoT that have aged and who remember OoT's Link, since, as they say, TP is timed a couple of years after OoT.

As for the Skull Kid, he'll probably be the kind who summons enemies to "play", just as he played in OoT, in the Lost Woods.

Frankly, what excites me the most are the vast sceneries. I loved TWW for being so immense (if a bit empty). To have an actual Hyrule that size makes me giddy. I always liked riding horseback on Epona in OoT, but the field felt so tiny. Now... well, joy fills me to the brim. :)

The impression I get is that the development team is working hard at keeping a tight hold on what makes the series so great. I saw the trailers and demos and frankly, I get this feeling of coiled perfection. Like everything was thought out, like there's a perfect balance of every element in the game, and it's all taut under a smooth exterior, waiting to be put to the test, and sure not to disappoint.

Really, TP is going to be a beautiful game. I don't care if it doesn't surpass OoT (even though Nintendo says they're striving to do just that), as long as they keep me keen, I'm going to love it. :D

Wait, TP is supposed to take place a few years after OoT, meaning it happens before WW? Does that mean. . . that would mean that more time would have had to pass between WW and OoT than just a 100 years as they first stated. *looks frustrated* The whole LoZ timeline is just screwed up. I give up trying to make sense of it, lol.

But yes, I don't think that Nintendo will ever give us a flat out clear thing on the relationship between Link and Zelda, meaning probably no romantic kiss or wedding. I'm sure they'll give us plenty of hints, as they always have, but they wouldn't want to tick off many of the fans of other pairings.

And no, Link can't die. Millions of enraged fans would kill. It would be very brave of them to try and kill the hero of the series.

I agree Crazygurl, I too loved the wide exploring area of WW, but there was really so little to do in that game once you think about it. It made all that open space seem wasted. I'm hoping TP will remedy that!! I'm looking forward to getting back on horse back and galloping through the fields and other places! ^_^

Decades, Alantie-chan. Decades. And they have already kissed in the very first Zelda. You just can't see it...or well, they look like they kiss!

Link. Apparently is hottest game character. hotter than cloud. Funny. Also voted better than cloud. Back to subject-yes many of you fangirls will be enraged if that happens. Should I do that in a oneshot? Like, parody Antigone?

Well, I just hope there will be stuff I can kill. Or I will be sad.

Agrees, and nods. Mhmm, crazygurl, we like the thug gorons. Theysa cool...

I agree that the wide open spaces in WW were fun, if a bit empty. If we get that vast an expanse to explore in TP, it will be total awesomness *le squee*
And Nintendo would probably only give us subtle hints towards any kind of romantic relationship between Link and Zelda (Curse them! *shakes fist*), and despite the fact that Zelda has kissed Link a handful of times, I doubt they'll put anything that blatant into this game. Though I'm (not so) secretly hoping to be prooven wrong...
