Title: Your Fears
Description: O_o

Sk8ierBoi - June 22, 2006 04:58 AM (GMT)
What are your fears?

My fears are bugs, any crazy freaky looking bugs will drive my crazy and I'll just errmmm.... *hides in the corner* I dislike Moths and light bugs. I used to like those bugs but now I don't. I don't know why, though. My other fears are slimish stuff like leeches or any sea creatures. :ph43r:

Maiden - June 22, 2006 11:50 AM (GMT)
I fear The End of the World :ph43r: don't ask why I worry about stupid stuff

Just like one time it was really hot out side I thought the Sun was going to blow up ROFL

I'm a hypochondrac, I tend to take things a little too far

Paladin's Heart - June 23, 2006 12:44 AM (GMT)
Okay, lets see I fear:

- Exorcisms
- Michael Jackson
- Gackt
- Thunderstorms.

Especially the last one.

Luna-Nayru - June 23, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
QUOTE (Paladin)
- Thunderstorms.

Oh, poor Paladin! I used to be scared of thunderstorms when I was younger. Then I started picturing God rocking out on a drum set whenever I heard the sound of thunder. Funny thing is, I pictured God looking exactly like Ray Charles when I was little (tuxedo and all). You can probably understand why I find the sound of thunder humorous now.

But I have a terrible fear of bats nowadays (can't even stand 'em when they're caged... they just creep me out). And a slight fear of heights, but at least I'm not as bad as I used to be (I about went into conniptions when we went to the top of the Sears Tower a few years ago). :D

CrazygurlMadness - June 23, 2006 02:12 AM (GMT)
Oh, you poor thing! I think there's nothing I love more than a good thunderstorm! I'm in serious love with natural powers, like tornadoes and cyclones... and thunderstorms (did I mention this?)!

My fear is... open spaces. I'm kind of agoraphobic. I dislike crowds and I could never be an astronaut because the idea of floating in the middle of nowhere totally freaks me out.

I love heights and enclosed spaces, though. Like an elevator. I'm weird that way. ^_^

I also fear religious extremists. Of all religions, including Catholicism, which is my "religion". I'm not a practicing catho, however. I respect those who have the faith, but my belief about faith is that it should never be heavily based on scriptures, because scriptures can be interpreted in any way. Unfortunately, people who try to manipulate large groups of people using those texts... now that's scary.

AmayaSaria - July 2, 2006 04:41 PM (GMT)
M'kay lets see....

-I can't stand heights. They freak me out, and I get so scareddddd!

-People. Giant crowds of people altogether...I feel like I can't breathe and I get all twitchy/spazzy.

-....One of my biggest fears is that one day I'll wake up, and find out I never existed. I'm afraid that my life isn't real, that it's all a dream. I'm really afraid of that happening....so I always get scared when I hear my alarm clock.

Theres probably some other stuff, but I just can't really think of 'em right now ^_^

Maiden - July 4, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)

OMG! If that ever happens to me I would be so greatful cause I really wanna be dead sometimes since life is hell.

QUOTE (Paladin's Heart)
- Gackt
- Thunderstorms.

Gackt how can you be afraid of Gackt? He is like the hottest guy in the world  I'd have him if I could

and as for Thunderstorms I love them as well  when I was little I used to go out side when ever it thundered and lightning ^^ and I still do it sometimes as well my little sister is scared of them though

but it's okay if your scared PH

Hylian Cetra - July 7, 2006 06:56 AM (GMT)
Failure

'nuff said. I can't stand to fail at something Dx

I got an F in Algebra 2 Honors second semester in 9th grade T_T I was depressed the whole summer. (wtf trigonometry was easier! O.o)

Moronite - January 5, 2008 01:13 PM (GMT)
Height.

Yes, i'm scared for height. It freaks me out.

LZ Angel - January 7, 2008 08:43 AM (GMT)
I'm slightly scared of heights (not as bad as I used to be though - as long as there's something stopping me falling from the height and if I don't look directly down, I'm fine :D

I'm also claustrophobic - I'm strangely ok in crowds, but I'm terrified of being stuck in any kind of small space :ph43r:

Those are my main fears - spiders and snakes don't really count, as I can tolerate them if they don't surprise me (for instance, one of my friends has two snakes as pets. I don't freak out around them). But I will freak out if I turn a light on in a room or something and see a spider come out of nowhere :ph43r:

HyruleMaster - January 22, 2008 04:50 AM (GMT)
I actually love thunderstorms. XD But I come from Arizona, so that's my excuse. (We don't get those types of things often... and thunderstorms usually=rain... which is good).

I have strange fears though... >.<

1. Anatomacally correct baby dolls.
2. The ER (A story goes with that)
3. The Health Channel
4. Theme park mascots
5. Any white room that involves medical tools, blood, etc.
6. WORMS... I HATE worms!! (Thank the new King Kong movie for that)

Oh man... when I got my wisdom teeth pulled they put me on a heart monitor before they put me under. It was already high to begin with (it was... the room... o.o) and once they put the needle in with the anasthesia, my heart rate went up. XD

Pretty irrational, ne?

nik - January 23, 2008 12:54 PM (GMT)
hmmm.... what I fear most in this world would have to be growing old... ungracefully lol that and bugs...bugs are pretty scary...

Kitty_savior - January 24, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)
I agree with nik on the age deal - after the initial consideration of the presents my birthday thoughts are something along the lines of: "A year older - I'm wasting my time!!"

I also fear dying on my bed, while half asleep (asleep, I suppose, wouldn't be so bad). I like to sleep sideways, with my chest sort of hunched in a fetal position and pulling close to it the pressure of most of my body weight - it's comforting to me. But sometimes when I'm about to fall asleep there is this fraction of a second where I can't breathe, where the weight is such that my lungs feel crushed between my huddled shoulders.

I'm trying to get into the habit of sleeping face-up ^^;;

When I was young, I feared the Clue board game, with its evil looking characters and its murder weapons. I would hide it in the darkest corner of my closet and sleep staring at anywhere BUT the closet doors.

....

Yeah o_O

gr33n_sl33ves - January 25, 2008 12:28 PM (GMT)
Spiders. I'm afraid of spiders.

I'm fine if they're behind glass or on TV or paper (or dead), but if there's one in front of me, I freak out. And the bigger the spider the more I freak out.

And you know how they say that if you're afraid of something, learning more about that thing will ease your fear? Yeah, it didn't work for me. I know a ton of crap about spiders, and can identify about fifty or so species on sight, but for every horribly little fact I learned about them, the less my fear was eased >_<

I also fear turning out like my grandmothers, who are either psychotic, insane, racist, emo, or bitchy. Or some combination of the above.

And I'm paranoid that this is all there is to life, and after death there's just oblivion. :ph43r:

Peyona - January 26, 2008 02:09 PM (GMT)
I'm petrified of spiders, it doesn't matter what size they are!

I also dislike heights, bridges especially, I usually think they're going to fall in when I cross them!

Ummm, and I hate open doors...I'm paranoid, I'm always think that someone's watching me. It's just me being silly :D

Zeruda - February 10, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
-Thunder
-Being poor
-Close areas/things around my neck/small spaces (claustrophobic)
-Water (can't swim)
-Angry ghosts. Yes, I believe in ghosts.

:x eep.

Saami - February 12, 2008 03:47 AM (GMT)
- The dark
- thunder
- being alone
- my parents getting older

The last one scares me the most. The other day I just realized my dad is old enough for those life insurance commercials where you have to be born between 1923 - 1968 or something like that. And I'm thinking this isn't supposed to happen to my parents. They're not supposed to get old, you know? *sigh*

Hylian Sword Master - February 12, 2008 01:47 PM (GMT)
I am scared of what God will do to me when I die, I'm also scared of my friend, my life, and Ilia in a certain point in the game. you figure it out. So you see, even a Sword Master can be scared, even if that Sword Master is Hylian.

zelda-in-disguise - August 7, 2008 11:27 PM (GMT)
Fears... Okay then.

Failing
Judgement-I'm afraid if people judge that I fail or what horrible untrue things people see
big bugs-tarantulas, huge centipedes, etc.
snakes
Dogs- A dog chased me when I was little, now I'm emotionally scarred for life
Dissapointing someone

I think that's it.

Hylian Princess - August 10, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
-Diseases
-Bugs (spiders, and the poisoness bugs too)
-Total darkness.
-People judging me to be something I'm not
-The future AI/human-like robots. You never know when they'll develop a mind of their own! It can happen!
-Link being with anyone else besides Zelda
-Losing someone important or something special to me
-I'm not necessarily scared of them, but I'm against dolls. Such a waste of plastic!
-Global Warming.

My fears aren't written in order...
I think that sums it all up, for now at least.

zelda-in-disguise - August 11, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
I forgot to add these (sorry, my brain was fried):

doctors(includes dentists)
bees/wasps

Doctors is my biggest fear (another horrible experience as a child) and bees/wasps are probably my second or third biggest fear. I don't know how I forgot them...probably because my brain was fried...

Ventor - February 19, 2009 02:02 AM (GMT)
My fears are the usual ones. Ever since I saw Jumanji when I was very little, spiders creeped me out. Then there're tornados. This one is actually funny becuase I'm fascinated by tornados, yet when a huge storm comes up, I go in my basement, hide under a blanket, and play my gameboy :link:.

I also have a huge fear of clowns! Seriously, they're the scariest things I've ever seen. What sick minded person came up with them anyway? O_o

I also have different fears like failure and judgment. I hate it when pople start judging others when they don't even get to know the person. BUt I guess the main reason I hate this is because I always get picked on at my school. People just love tripping me in the hallways and making fun of me in my face.

Then of course there's the fear of some creep come into my house and kill me. Thanks to the movie The Strangers, which I saw at midnight *bad choice X(* Every time I'm in a dark room I panic and start running around in circles until someone turns the light on.

But of course, my main fear of all time, is death. Just the thought of it makes me want to cry. But most things that scare me the most about death is what will happen to me when I die? I'm not talking about heaven, cause I'm a christian, :link: but will I choke to death, get shot, get in a car accidnt, or just die of old age? I think it's the pure suspence and unexpectincy of death that scares me and thousands of other people the most. But it's not only me I'm worried about, it's the people I'm close to. Thinking of my mom or dad dieing, just thinking about it, brings me up in tears.

That's pretty much it, those are my main fears anyway. Sorry for the exesively long reply. I do that a lot. Sorry.

QUOTE (Saami @ Feb 12 2008, 03:47 AM)
- my parents getting older

I know what you mean.
Maybe not really a fear, but then again maybe it is.

What's weird is I am always afraid, I always cringe my teeth before taking a step towards anything, yet I can rarely define what I really fear.

The one I CAN define though is falling off a horse, but it happened anyway.
Hurts like HELL. In muscle pain for more than a week. Arm pain lasted much longer. Skin burnt for so long. It even gave me weird, WEIRD nightmares about ''fighting wounds''.
And I almost fell around three times last time I went horseback riding (sp?).
I hate fear.

BUT I have a cool scar I can show off the day I get a boyfriend.
''I got this on a close encounter with a fence the day that horse ran away faster than the marathon man.''
Also, my love for horseriding is stronger than my fear, for now.
Thinking about it, I am always afraid to see someone I love fall. Freaks me out more than falling myself actually.

But I've yet to corner and give quite a talk to to my other fears. Shadowed evil creatures, nameless and hidding everywhere I go. Poking. ...The bastards!

MalonsLover - February 19, 2009 04:45 PM (GMT)
I have a fear of being tortured to death, but at the same time I would like to inflict those same tortures on people that deserve it. (Insane mass murderers, child molesters) Just mainly people who I think would deserve that type of horrible fate.

Crystal187 - February 19, 2009 06:46 PM (GMT)
SNAKES.

Oh my god, just thinking about them makes me feel like puking. I wish they were all dead.

Am I the only one?

KokirianClockwork - February 19, 2009 08:44 PM (GMT)
I know other people afraid of snakes.

I, on the other hand, LOVE them! I find them amazing!
I'll keep an eye out for you. D:< *waves ''save the snakes'' flag*

Poor girl though. Phobias are awful. :(

Ventor - February 20, 2009 03:17 AM (GMT)
My grandma is terrified of snakes, but I for one love them. For her birthday around one or two years ago, I gave her movie tickets to snakes on a plane  It was funny, but she didn't go. Instead me and my mom went. But I can understand why you don't like snakes crystal, they can be pretty creepy and disgustiong. (Unfortunately for you, that's why I love 'em)

KokirianClockwork - February 22, 2009 03:29 AM (GMT)
I don't even find them creepy or disgusting, just plain awesome. :)

MalonsLover - February 22, 2009 04:12 PM (GMT)
I don't have a problem handling non poisonous grass snakes or even a Boa Constrictor. Rattlesnakes or Copperheads? Forget about it

My brother and I used to catch rattlesnakes in a field behind out house. XP It was fun. They're actually pretty wimpy and won't even try to bite you unless you're prodding them with a stick or something.

The only snake I wouldn't mess with is one of the kinds that can spit their poison in your eyes- that's too risky for me.

MalonsLover - February 22, 2009 11:13 PM (GMT)
You are a brave woman Zeruda. I will be dammed if I ever try to catch a rattlesnake, cobra or any other poisonous snake species.

Crystal187 - February 23, 2009 01:26 AM (GMT)
:o You people are crazy!! I don't know if I fear or admire you for messing with those things.

I, for one, don't understand why people are afraid of bugs and/or spiders. They don't bother me in the least. I guess that makes up for my paralyzing snake phobia.

Ventor - February 23, 2009 04:05 AM (GMT)
The main reason I don't like spiders is the fact that I saw Jumanji when I was very little. Ever since then, spiders have just always creeped me out. I don't mind having them in my bedroom or anything though, cause I know they catch annoying pests like misquitoes, but I just never really liked them. I guess we all are different.

KokirianClockwork - March 2, 2009 06:26 PM (GMT)
It's mosquitoes that get on my nerves. Just because of an invasion we had a couple of years ago. The little idiots kept entering my ears during my sleep, waking me up in the middle of the night and keeping me awake hours on end, trying to find them and kill them. Everytime I got one, blood came out of their bublly bodies. NOT cool knowing it was my own blood.
Not scared of them, but when I see one well I ougtha... *Shakes fist*

Ventor - March 7, 2009 04:31 AM (GMT)
I agree. I'm not scared of them, they just bug the crap out of me (bad pun). Esspecially when they go in my ear. You here that high pitched noise, and yoor hand instantly rises up and smacks the crap out of your head until the noise stops. XP

gr33n_sl33ves - March 8, 2009 08:49 AM (GMT)
Urgh, mosquitoes are the only downside to camping. The only thing more cringe-inducing that a mosquito's buzz is the sound of a dentist's drill x_x

But I'm with Ventor on the spider-fear. I got mine when a huge one jumped on my high-chair as a baby *freak-out flail*
