Well, I didn't know where to put this because it's not really fiction, or fan art, but is equally a fan contribution. Love of Zelda and I are thinking of starting up a blog for our articles, we have three so far, with others in mind.

We can't think up a name however, and need suggestions how to go about this. Or subjects for articles obviously.

So, thoughts?

GpG and I are working on the second part of "A Tale of Two Princesses," "The Faces of Zelda," and I am *slowly* working on a piece called "Observations on Malon." We love ideas for new articles, and of course, we would enjoy some creative help in creating a name for the blog, which may/may not be hosted on WordPress, an excellent blogging website.

So! Ideas for names for the blog are appreciated!

I think this is a great idea, you two!! There are so few Zelink fansites anymore, so I really love the idea of a blog with essays.

I don't know if you'd ever want help there, but if you do, please let me know!!

Actually, I like all three..."Time cannot erase" is lovely, but may seem as if it refers mainly to the OoT era. ( My personal fav )
"Fairy Tale Destiny" is cool too, sort of a very statement of our ZeLink views..

That reminds me...I've been totally lazy about the Tale of two Princesses. ( We only did the analysis of Midna so far. ) I'm thinking part three ( the comparison ) might have to tie into our "Faces of Zelda" one. Seeing as how it's pretty much an expounded section of that one.

I like the sound of "Time Cannot Erase" as well - my only concern is that this is the title of CallistoHime's esteemed fanfiction, and that this might get tangled up with her story. On the other hand, it might get us good traffic.

The "Fairy Tale Destiny" definitely has a ring to it, however. I could dig that - plus, it would be easy to find on Wordpress. What do you think, GpG? I like it!

Atlantie, GpG and I would love to have you on board as a collaborator if you have the time and if it would be something you would enjoy doing. You are articulate and would therefore have articles that would be good to read.

This sounds real interesting. So, this is going to be a Zelink blog filled with articles (Zelink or otherwise)? I like the sound of that.

And Love_of_Zelda, those three articles you mentioned ("A Tale of Two Princesses," "The Faces of Zelda," and "Observations on Malon") sound like they'd be good reads. I've only read the titles and already I'm looking forward to reading them (even though I haven't played Twilight Princess). :D

As for titles, I like Fairy Tale Destiny the best. I would say Bound by Fate, but it sounds too much like the title of the Link/Zelda fanlisting, "Linked by Fate."

Hm... What about 'Legend Revealed'? You're putting up essays that dictate certain things that people take for granted, so I thought it fit. Alantie's are good, too. ^^

The first part of "Tale of two Princesses" is already up: it's posted in the GC section I think. As it stands it's only a character assessment on Midna though.

Well, I think our articles are going to have a Zelink focus...if nothing else the understanding we support Zelink. ( you won't find any pro-Malon x Link stuff in our writing, even if we write respectfully about Malon as a character. ) I think we are going to attempt to write about other things than just romance, but romance is our favorite subject. ( you agree, LoZ? )

*Nods rigorously* Agreed, GpG. The "Observations on Malon" is going to be written as respectively and as objectively as possible, given the author and editor. "The Faces of Zelda" has been fun to write, in particular WW Zelda's side of the story. TP Zelda's article has been sobering to write - it's what is NOT said that gives her character the impact that it does.

Angel Zelda, you must play TP! There are some downsides to it (as there are to any game), but it is well worth the play. Arbiter's Grounds have always been my favorite. BTW, how are you cooking along with MM?

But yes, Fairy Tale Destiny has my vote - it's a name that evokes a light and springy layout...

I rather like Fairy Tale Destiny myself too. Time Cannot Erase is awesome, but I agree, it does hint more towards OoT than Zelink as a whole.

Why thank you! :lol: I'd love to help you out, whenever you need it. I'll see if I can think up some essay topics, and take a closer look at the essays you've already written. You are going to include the essay about comparing KafeixAnju to LinkxZelda, correct?

Oh yeah. The already written ones should go first on the blog. My vote is also for "Fairy Tale Destiny."

Alrighty. When I get some free/bored time, I'm going to tackle the Zelda part of TotP...I will need a reread of Midna's to do it though. Maybe a fresh perspective will help where I got stalled last time. ( Pretty sure I was the one who stopped working on it )

Note: Alantie: I think it was you who did a good post comparing the Terminian forms to how Link could empathize. I'm thinking that's almost article worthy there.

I don't have any game system that can play TP (I only have a Nintendo 64, a Sega, and a PlayStation--yes, I'm old-fashioned), but I do have a friend who has the game. I could ask her about it.

And in MM, I'm in the Great Bay Temple, and I'm pretty frustrated with the fact that the water in the man room whirls around due to the waterwhirl that's in the room. XD

Yup that was me. Ah, I think that might be a good idea! It would put some interesting perspective on things. I just really got to thinking about how the different forms reflected Link on different levels, so I'm glad you liked that. I think it would be a good essay too.

And TP is awesome!! What kind of perspectives on Midna are you needing, GPG? I'm replaying TP as we speak, so I can keep a lookout for things if you need.

I'd love to see that second part of your Midna article. I just read through the first part, and it's brilliant so far. ^^ You've got a great grasp of her as a character, and I love how well you manage to convey that.

You want to see the second part? Done. LoZ has it now, but I'll send you the work I've done so far as well...please free to comment on it and such: if you can add anything to it, please! At this point it's very rough: we need to nail down the theories we agree on and such. ( It's actually about Zelda, this part. )
I'm concerned that so far it doesn't flow in the same style as the first.

And GpG, in case the e-mail service acts up, I have contacted the Wordpress staff for help in getting you onboard. I hope it's something that can be worked out quickly. Wordpress just put on a new interface, so that may be part of the problem.
