Title: a diffrent anime

Question (most of my posts seem to be questions). Has any of you seen Ranma. I was addicted. Was. Past tense. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody saw it, we can discuss
it. I'll give you a brief summary if you want to see it. I'll also give you a link to all the videos. Well anyway, there's this boy called Ranma. He and his father have gone on a training mission when he was three, and now he's sixteen. Then they go to train somewhere but an accident happens (not telling you what). Also, Ranmas father, Genma, and his friend, Soun, made a deal before Ranma was born. The deal was that if a boy was born to either one, and a girl was born to the other, then the boy and girl will get married. This anime is about all the crazy things that happen to them. Also, Soun has three girls, and the one that Ranma picked likes to hit him every time he does something wrong. Very romantic.

There are seven seasons, shone in the box to the left. OVA is also part of it, only they are special. And there are movies also, cut into parts.

Any way, enjoy.

I've just recently started watching Ranma, and I think it's pretty entertaining. Corny at times, though. I'm used to more serious anime that builds up to intense drama. I have to admit, though, it can be pretty funny. I absolutely love Ranma and Akane as a couple, and Akane would have to be my favourite character with Ranma as runner-up. :P

Yeah, that is what brought me in to all the japanese stuff. I mean, the concept that with the springs and such. That gives you thoughts like, what spring do I want to fall in. What season are you on?

The second one. I've also watched a couple of the OVA specials along with the movies (on youtube). The manga itself is also pretty good; the last chapter was awesome. Ranma's clutching onto Akane's lifeless body and begins to admit to himself that he loves her.

And as for me, I started to become obsessed with japanese stuff ever since Inuyasha came out. Funny, isn't it? I watched Inuyasha long before I got into Ranma, and Ranma was Rumiko's first official story. lol

I have read the manga twice, and i still felt like a part was being ripped from me. I rather liked the middle and late beginning tho. The parts when Ranma was always protecting her, yet insulting. Then the other girls came.
