Hah, i've read an endless list of manga, but where anime is concerned...

• Black Cat (Train is just too hot. But the manga is like 567439820000³ times better than the anime)

So. Any new good series out there, that are worth watching anymore?

I've tried watching some new animes, but a lot of them seem to be repeating themselves/remind me of too many other animes.

Samuari Deeper Kyo, for example. Now don't get me wrong, its not a bad show, but it really reminds me of Rurouni Kenshin, making a little less appealing and kind of boring to watch.

Samething with Naruto. -ish. Naruto is an AMAZING idea, and they head a pretty good plot for awhile...until it turned DBZ-ish with all the spoilers and shtuff, which made it too long for me to continue watching. I usually like small series.

Some of the Original stuff though, has definately gotta be things like:

-Full Metal Alchemist===> People who don't even like anime/manga/Japan in
-Death Note =====> general even watch/read these series.

...Uhh. I can't really think of many others. ^^;

Weeeellll, I haven't really watched anything new for a long time. . . I have a hard time getting acess to my anime, I hafta borrow DVD's from the library. :lol: But lets see, I've been rewatching DN Angel lately. . . and Samurai Champloo has always been a favorite of mine. I just adore Jin. :D I know must people are Mugan fans, but Jin just gets to me. :wub: I want to get my hands on Death Note, but the library only has the manga, so I've put that on hold. ^_^

Well, certainly Evangelion was a unique anime and all, but it's not that hard to understand. You have to understand the characters a bit, but once you do everything will make sense. Of course, there were some moments that did get me a bit confused. (The ending, much? Plus End of Evangelion too, The whole thing o_o) Overall, it's a great anime to watch (and manga to read, too!). Be sure to check it out once you have the chance.

Well, my favourites are Yu-Gi-Oh (I own the first series of the manga :D), Carcaptor Sakura (the Japanese version), and Avatar: the Last Airbender (which is apparently an anime, and the third series comes out soon ^_^)

I've seen others, like DBZ and Sailor Moon, but not having foxtel means I see very little of those shows, and therefore lose interest (Sailor Moon I like, but DBZ is a little stupid -__-)

Movies: Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle :D

I think the first anime series I ever saw was Astro Boy, but I was 3 or 4 at the time, so I don't remember much about it. I also think saw part of the movie Akira at that time, because when I watched it for the first time a few years back, I was getting quite a bit of deja vu... it would explain so much...

But my favourites would have to be have to be Sailor Moon (in the original, uncut Japanese, because the dub butchered everything), Cowboy Bebop, Vision of Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, Death Note, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Naruto Shippuden, Galaxy Express 999, Interstella 5555, Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Blue Submarine #6, Princess Mononoke and Broken Saints (while it's not technically anime, it's done in an anime style, and that's close enough for me :P)


...and no offence to those who liked Gundam Seed, but I wanted to kill Kira in the most horribly brutal fashion imaginable :whistle:

Sailor Moon- Probably my first or second anime (Although at the time I did not know it was called anime--AND OMG O.o I could tell at even at the age of seven or eight that there was SOMETHING going on between Uranus and Neptune. Cousins do not do that hand thingy- does else remember that episode??!)
.CardCaptor Sakura- EIther my first or second anime..I dunno. Syaoran was my first anime crush xD but one day it was on the tv then the next it wasn't...so sad T_T I was only ten ot younger... The manga rocks though..(when I first got it I was expecting May Lin, the FREEZE card, and others...never came turned out it was for longer series time or wtv.

And I agree about Digimon - they should have stopped at season 2. The first 2 seasons are the only decent ones...in my opinion *also ships TK/Kari*

Odd thing about Digimon - the main/head character of the group always has brown hair, goggles, and has some strong association with the colour red.

And I want CCS manga! I can never find it anywhere though....must keep looking....>_<

BLEACH! I discovered it late into the summer this year and I was kicking myself, asking WHY didn't I start watching it sooner... At that point, I watched all 140 episodes in a week (three have been released since then... new episode in Japan on Wednesday!).

I'm a mad Ichigo/Orihime shipper (almost but not quite as big as Link/Zelda--I love it that much) and put up an Ichihime oneshot on Fanfiction and a few pieces of art on deviantART.

I never got the attraction to Naruto. I watch a few episodes here and there on my brother's computer and I read a few Sasusaku stories on Fanfiction, but Naruto doesn't really click with me (though I pretend to know what's going on when my friends talk about it for the sake of not looking lost). What I do know, though: Sasusaku/Naruhina + mass appeal = 349857239458723945872390 reviews per chapter.

All the anime I've seen I pretty much love. I just can't put them in any favorite order cause I love all of them!

Don't watch any in particular. The best anime to ever happen was DBZ fullstop. The SSJ3 power up episode was absolutely bad ass. A 10 hour session of yelling and earthquakes and then you get to see him in his best form saying " Sorry that took so long".

I generally like stuff by CLAMP.... but I like other stuff, too.

I'd have to say Death Note is my absolute favorite. When I watched it for the first time I literally stopped breathing at some parts. It was so intense! Though I must admit it did drag a little bit at some parts, but not that much--it was still interesting. Rurouni Kenshin is way up there, too. "Oro?" X3 The rest are out of order-- I can't really decide which ones I like more.
