Alright, has anyone seen Pan's Labyrinth? If I'm gonna post what I think of it, how 'bout someone post on it, and hopefully give their opinion. C'mon! Post! :D
Never really heard about it...care to give a summary 'bout it? =D
Well, at leas someone's interested. :D
Pan'sLabyrinth is about a girl, Ofelia, in Civil War Spain. She moves with her mother to her stepfather's country estate, but her stepfather is really cold and uncaring toward her and her mother. One night, she meets a fairy, that leads her through the Stone Labyrinth next to the estate, where she meets the Faun, a creature of the Underground Realm. The Faun tells Ofelia she is a Princess of the Underground Kingdom, and tells her that she must complete three tasks to prove her "essence is intact".
And so the story begins...:P
It's a really good story, and its acted and filmed very well. It is a tad violent, and very gothic (they don't wear dreadlocks and stuff, but it's very dark and a bit scary at times) and heads do get bitten off. :D Hope you watch it, I think it was really enjoyable.
I'm here!!! :D Are you happy now, Ed? :P
And I can say. . . I LOVE PAN'S LABYRINTH!!! I saw it and adored it. I think it could have done without some of the really graphic violence, but other than that, the story was enchanting and absolutely beautiful. I really identified with Ofelia, and I think Mercedes was like a grown up version of Ofelia.
Hmm, is there anything in particular about the movie you'd like to discuss? I loved it all, so I don't know where to start!
I wanted to watch that one. never did. dammit.
