I think this goes here! Since this kinda does have to do with anime...*shrugs*
Well, recently I've been pulled into the world of watching Japanese Live-Action dramas. Although some people don't like live-action...Its not the corny live-action you may be thinking about. They're actually some good shows out there.
One of the best actors/singers/dancers out there is called
Matsumoto Jun! So far he has been in all of the dramas I watched so far. The shows are really addicting, believe me. And boy oh boy is this guy HAWT! ^_^
Jun is in a band called
Arashi. This band is really good, and they all have amazing voices. I recommend listening to them! (My favorites song are
Sakura Sake and
Wish. I recommend listening/watching to them!)
Mmmkay. Back to the Drama thing. Right.
First drama/comedy I saw was
Gokusen! Its based off the anime/manga, Gokusen. The art for Gokusen is kinda...well...not that great. The LA is so much better. Give a shot! Its kinda hard to find though, being since youtube stinks now...(Or look for Alexq, he has the whole series as a private video. Be his friend and look them up!) The show is about 12 episodes each, with each episode being almost an hour. I seriously say watch it. I fell in love with each character, and I cried in the end.
The next one I saw was called
Kimi wa Petto. Its the LA version of the manga, "Tramps Like Us"...I don't like that art much either D; You can watch all nine episodes
here! Again, a really good series. Its much more on the sad side, compared to Gokusen. Its really emotional as well, breaks your heart, but the ending will certainly make you happy. 10 episodes, hour or so for each episode!
The last, and most recent drama I have seen, which is definately one of the drama-y-est, is
Hana Yori Dango. LA of Hana Yori Dango, aka "Boys over Flowers", the manga/anime of it. I don't like the art that much in this one either! ;_; This series is amazing. Every episode is funny, no fillers, its just awesome. It also has a lot of drama and sad-ness in it, and the ending is really good, but still pretty sad! You can watch it
here!. Theres also a second season
here, which is uncomplete because its currently airing in Japan. Its amazingly awesome, I really really recommend watching it. 9 Episodes, about an hour or so each. Only 3 episodes out of the second season...;_;
Anyway, I thought I'd just share with you guys about my J-drama! They all star Matsumoto Jun (of course!). They're all really worth you're watching though, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
Post any opinions, or share more LA (live-action) stuff here! XD I'd like to see more, if anybody knows any more!
