Title: Lowriding
Description: What do you think of it?

Dirty Harry - August 1, 2006 03:17 PM (GMT)
Alright. Here's the weird topic.

You know how many guys, like, we wear our pants around hip and past? What do you, as girls, think of it? I've had girls that don't mind, to others that want to wage war on us and give us wedgies.

So tell me what you think,.

CrazygurlMadness - August 2, 2006 03:29 PM (GMT)
I'm not a conservative kind of person. Don't get me wrong. Guys can do whatever the heck they want.

But god does that "I escaped from prison and this is the only size they had" look make guys look asinine. No offence (and the pun about asses is not intended).

It's alright to wear extra large pants a bit low on the hips, but come on. One of my guy friends had pants the waist of which rode just above his knees. Obviously, he lost them in the middle of the movies, as he was jumping around excitedly (it was past midnight and we'd all had a long, sugar-rushed day). The question, of course, is "how on earth can they possibly expect to be free of their movements anyway?"

I am not interested in seeing anyone's boxers or buttcracks. If I was, I'd look for them myself. I don't think it's necessary to be shown such things where I don't want to see them. Like in my face while on the bus. Just, ew.

Why don't guys just wear them as they're supposed to be worn (around their waist) and let us girls appreciate their firm buttocks instead? It'd be much more appreciated.

Dirty Harry - August 3, 2006 02:08 PM (GMT)
hehehe...I remember your fic about Zelda in the office making out with Link. That was funny...

CrazygurlMadness - August 3, 2006 03:52 PM (GMT)
 Thanks.

Although I fail to see the relation...? Perhaps I'm just dense. It's near noon and I just woke up. -_-

Dirty Harry - August 4, 2006 08:46 AM (GMT)
Forgot tittle. Maybe it was Pinguicha.

CrazygurlMadness - August 4, 2006 03:08 PM (GMT)
Whoa. Now I'm really confused. Then again, it's best to stay on subject.

Why do guys actually wear their pants like that? If there was a logical explanation, it'd be nice to know it. I can explain female fashion without any problem (even though it's not exactly the shiniest of our aspects), but the low pants thing...?

It eludes me.

Ingie - August 4, 2006 04:57 PM (GMT)
I absolutely HATE it when guys wear their pants pulled down just above thier knees so you can completely see their underwear/boxers. It's just fo freakin STUPID. It's far from attractive or cool, expecially since they have to shuffle around like idiots. <_<

Well, that was my rant, dunno if that's what you were talking about, but yeah.

CrazygurlMadness - August 4, 2006 04:59 PM (GMT)
This should become a poll.

Do you

a. Like it
b. shrug at it
or c. hate it

That way we'd all be clear.

Alantie - August 4, 2006 05:16 PM (GMT)
It should be a poll :P

My feelings? I HATE the sagging when the pants are down around the knees. Sorry, but I don't want to see what your boxers/whity tighties/buttcrack looks like today. It's just wrong when its that extreme. Also, how are you supposed to run from the cops when your pants are falling off? I don't mind pants being a little baggy on guys, in fact, its sometimes kind of hot :D But NOT to the point where its no secret what you wear underneath!

CrazygurlMadness - August 4, 2006 05:27 PM (GMT)
Yes. Belts all around!

Alantie - August 4, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
Woohoo!!! Belts for all!!! *throws belts at unsuspecting boys*

What made boys start doing the sagging thing anyway? Did one wake up one day and say, "Hmm, I think everyone would like to know what kind of underwear I have on!"? I honestly don't know how it started.

CrazygurlMadness - August 4, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
Well, actually, it's a fashion trend from the late nineties. It originates from prisons and penitentiaries, where prisonners were given a "one size fits all" uniform, the pants of which often sagged very low because they weren't allowed to have belts (for obvious reasons).

Thus, the "I just escaped from prison" look was born.

I still think there are other ways to look tough that do not involve butt cracks. :ph43r:

Alantie - August 4, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)
Rofl. You serious?! That is just too funny! I can't believe that's where it really came from!! *dies laughing*

You are so right! What is tough and manly abot revealing things best left unrevealed? IF you want to look tough. . .grow a mustache or something

CrazygurlMadness - August 5, 2006 02:48 AM (GMT)
 Sweet begeezers. A mustache? I'm not so sure about that. :ph43r:

Dirty Harry - August 5, 2006 08:37 AM (GMT)
Hmm...it's good for dacking others though...:D

Moustaches? :ph43r:

CrazygurlMadness - August 5, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
What happened to leg warmers? I'd pay money to see some guy wearing leg warmers in this day and age. *cracks up*

Alantie - August 5, 2006 03:52 PM (GMT)
Bwahahahaha!! That would be too funny!!! ^_^ Now there's something nice and manly! Right up there along with those tights and high heels men used to wear. Bring em back!!

CrazygurlMadness - August 5, 2006 06:57 PM (GMT)
I just know that ten years from now, the lowriders will have gone the way of the leg warmer, the tights and the men heels.

And we'll look back on them and scoff and say, "Yeah, people were really weird back then. "

It's a fashion that will be replaced by some other stupid fashion. I dread to imagine the upcoming trends. :ph43r:

Dirty Harry - August 6, 2006 09:41 AM (GMT)
Lol. Shirts for pants? I dunno...

CrazygurlMadness - August 6, 2006 03:29 PM (GMT)
Worse. Men Dresses. We're headed that way, I tell you. With those XXXXXXLarge shirts being sold, we're headed the way of the man dress.

DOOMED! DOOOOOOMED, I TELL YOU! :o

Alantie - August 7, 2006 12:28 AM (GMT)
OMG, please, don't even put that image in my head!! *shudder* :ph43r: If men ever wear dresses, I might have to kill myself or something. No, next they'll end up wearing socks on their hands or something equally strange and retarded.

Maiden - August 7, 2006 01:10 AM (GMT)
Ya'll know who started all that men's baggy pants stuff. ;)

Men in london that were gay started that so they could get it up the butt better  we studied that in history class obviously

Alantie - August 7, 2006 01:24 AM (GMT)
OMG *Huge heaving shudder* You serious? That is so so so scary!! :ph43r:

CrazygurlMadness - August 7, 2006 03:53 AM (GMT)
I will now proceed to ignore that last bit of information. DX

Dirty Harry - August 7, 2006 01:08 PM (GMT)
Being a guy here...I find that a bit...

CrazygurlMadness - August 7, 2006 02:42 PM (GMT)
Yeah, my sympathies.

I can't even believe we girls are doing this to ourselves. :ph43r:

Alantie - August 7, 2006 04:33 PM (GMT)
I know!! *shudder shudder shudder* Lol, there there, firefly, its alright, we will protect you :D *sigh* Well, I can only hope the next stage in men's fashion isn't like this one!

Dirty Harry - August 8, 2006 09:46 AM (GMT)
*1000 kenshin copycats appear, and proclaim kimonos he new men's fashion*

CrazygurlMadness - August 8, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
:o Kimonos? Yes, let's all regress.

Alantie - August 8, 2006 04:45 PM (GMT)
Hahaha!! Yes, kimonos on men= super sexy  It would amuse me to no end if that ever became the fashion!! I've been trying to make a kimono for myself. . . :) Unfortunately, my skills with clothing making are still developing <_<

Dirty Harry - August 9, 2006 09:42 AM (GMT)
Lol...Alantie-chan loves seeing men's chests...

Alantie - August 9, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
 *gasp* You found me out! Curse you!!! *shakes finger* Stop reading my mind darn it!! *wacks firefly* Otherwise I shall force yout to start the kimono trend to replace the lowriding one!! *holds up a pink kimono smiling evilly*

CrazygurlMadness - August 10, 2006 12:00 AM (GMT)
Um... what sane woman doesn't enjoy mens' chests? Probably even lesbian women know how to appreciate a sexy man. So...

I can't wait for men to go around showing their chests. That'd be nice.

Dirty Harry - August 10, 2006 10:02 AM (GMT)
Nanio? Hountouni desu ka? *gets a kimono* Demo...

Yes. I'm a fatass. Thus I shall refrain from wearing a kimono.

Alantie - August 10, 2006 04:57 PM (GMT)
Er- yes, whatever you said at first, firefly  *pats on the head*

Ah, I shall eagerly await the day along with you CM. If I were a fashion designer, maybe I would have the power to get boys to wear kimonos but I am not. <_<

CrazygurlMadness - August 10, 2006 05:08 PM (GMT)
-_- One day. Never you fear.

Alantie - August 10, 2006 05:23 PM (GMT)
^_^ I shall look forward to that day with great anticipation :D

CrazygurlMadness - August 10, 2006 07:28 PM (GMT)
As we all shall.

Dirty Harry - August 11, 2006 02:29 PM (GMT)
And I shall not *cringes again* why is Alantie chan and CGM-chan so cruel to me?

CrazygurlMadness - August 11, 2006 03:45 PM (GMT)
It's because of those damn lowriders. They get me cranky. :D
