Title: Akatsuki no Kurama-Dawn's Carriage
Description: by FictionJunction featuring Yuuka

Dirty Harry - July 21, 2006 10:07 AM (GMT)
Artist: Fiction Junction featuring YUUKA

Kazesasou kokage ni utsubusete naiteru
Mi mo shiranu watashi wo watashi ga miteita
Yuku hito no shirabe wo kanaderu gitaara
Konu hito no nageki ni hoshi ha ochite
Shaded by the trees, calling out to the wind, I'm lying face-down crying
I saw a version of myself I didn't even recognize
On this guitar I'm playing the melody of someone who's passed on
A star falls in the grief of someone who'll never be seen again

Yukanaide, donna ni sakende mo
Orenji no hanabira shizuka ni yureru dake
Yawarakana hitai ni nokosareta
Te no hira no kioku haruka
Tokoshie no sayonara tsuma hiku
Please don't go, no matter how much you scream,
all it will do is quietly stir these orange petals
Saved on my soft brow,
I send the memories in my palm far away
An eternal farewell as I keep strumming

Yasashii te ni sugaru kodomo no kokoro wo
Moesakaru kuruma ha furiharai susumu
Yuku hito no nageki wo kanadete gitaara
Mune no ito hageshiku kakinarashite
The heart of a child clinging to a gentle hand
The blazing wheels cast it off and continue on
On this guitar I'm playing the grief of someone who's passed on
The strings in my heart being plucked at violently

Aa kanashimi ni somaranai shirosa de
Orenji no hanabira yureteta natsu no kage ni
Yawarakana hitai wo nakushite mo
Akaku someta suna haruka koete yuku
Sayonara no rizumu
In the pure white unstained by sorrow,
the orange petals stirred in a summer shadow
Even if my soft brow is lost,
I'll cross over the far off, red-stained sand
The rhythm of farewell

Omoide wo yakitsukushite susumu daichi ni
Natsukashiku me fuite yuku mono ga aru no
Branded into my memories, on the ever-turning earth,
there is something sprouting in remembrance

Akatsuki no kuruma wo miokutte
Orenji no hanabira yureteru ima mo dokoka
Itsuka mita yasurakana yoake wo
Mou ichido te ni suru made
Kesanaide tomoshibi
Kuruma ha mawaru yo
Sending off the dawn's carriage
Those orange petals are stirring somewhere even now
The peaceful daybreak I once saw
Until it is placed in my hands once more,
please don't let the light go out
The wheels are turning

This is one of the songs from Gundam Seed. It plays during one of the scenes between two main characters, who are about to kill each other (Paladin's Heart should know) and also in the part where one of those main characters is being sent off into space, while leaving her father behind. Her father self-destructs their homeland to stop it from being used for malicious purposes. :ph43r:

I really think this a song that is like...in my opinion Link's feelings over Zelda and how he keeps on being sent through time, and away from her, and he's just playing his Zora guitar and thinking about things, and all his times with her. I also think like...the ends of the choruses, about the "Rhythms of farewell" are likened to how Link keeps on saying goodbye to everyone, and to Zelda, and realising that he might not return to her and stuff...yeah. Read, and download, it's a beautiful song.

This is where I got it from.

Oh wow. . . those lyrics really do remind me of Link's feelings, you're right!

This line, 'The heart of a child clinging to a gentle hand' reminds me of the scene at the ending, just before Zelda sends Link back, and he's placed the Ocarina in her hand, but hasn't let go yet. . . *tears up* I can really imagine Link sitting somewhere with his guitar playing this song, with only his memories of Zelda to hold onto. . .

I will have to download that song later, if my cursed dial-up doesn't take forever <_< Thank you so much for sharing this song!! :D

Isn't it? Get Lute to take a look, as well as Luna-Naryu or someone, mesa wanna know opinions so I can bags a songfic maybe. :D Whether to use for Gundam Seed or LoZ is another matter...

Luna-Nayru - July 22, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
Eh? Did I hear a call for Luna? :D I was just going to comment on these lyrics anyway, because they're so deep and pretty. I've never seen them before (makes sense since I live in the US :P ), but they're very reflective of Link's feelings and I give you major kudos for posting them. ^_^

As Alantie also mentioned, I'm totally fangirling over the "heart of a child clinging to a gentle hand" line. Since I've always seen Link as a sort of naive, always innocent character, I'd definitely expect that kind of perspective from him. And the "sending the memories in my palm far away" in relation to the "eternal farewell" bit makes me think a lot of OOT's ending. There's a lot of speculation as to whether Link and Zelda remembered what happened in the time period seven years later, but it's pretty safe to say that at least Link remembered it, since he went back to see Zelda even after he became a child again. So those lines in the song make me think a lot of how he must have felt--he has to let go of a life he lived and replace it with another, but the memories are going to be there forever. And probably one of the most vivid memories would be, you guessed it, his and Zelda's farewell. So the lyrics do have a lot of special meaning for this pairing if you think about it. ^_^

Ah, I'm such a sap. Don't mind me. XD

Don't worry. I felt inspired by this, so I ended up writing a poem (free form, it sucks because there is no rhythm or rhyme whatsoever) but yeah, and it was very LxZ. Maybe you girls'll like this.

Lying face-down in the dirt I cry
Salty tears mixing with the barren earth
To form a ringing sound
Of melancholic loss

I'm sitting in the mud
Playing this melody to myself
Watching the orange petals fall
Upon my stainless hands

The tide of the times are rising
To sweep me away from this land
Of desolate dreams and grieving hearts
To the place where I belong
While I listen to the slow, gentle
Pace of parting

Lying on a sheet of white
A river well-worn overflows
With pain and sorrow
And a well-worn course is tread upon again

I'm sitting by the fire
Playing this melody to myself
The orange petals of innocence
Have fallen off my hands

The tide of the times are rising
White wheels are turning
As they bear us away from each other
To an age that has passed me by
While I listen to the violent, torrentuos
Emotions of goodbye

Engraved into my memories
Are pictures of the two of us
Sitting by the fire, and crying
As the orange petals wither away

The tides of the times sweep me away
As the dawn carriage bears me
To a time where I have nothing
And all that was mine has disappeared
While right and wrong vanish before me
Into the pulse of farewell

As you can see I went and stole the whole idea of the song, but yeah. What did you think? I might post it on fanfic.net. In fact, I WILL post it on fanfic.net.

And here's another song...actually, poem. I don't know whether or not it's Zelda and Link but it was nice...and I made it again...

We'll fly

We'll fly
Through the space to a time
When your face was benign

I'll cry
For the friends that I've lost
Now I've paid the cost

So child
What do you believe?
Tell me what we've achieved

Don't cry
Now we're enemies
You won't 'member me

You'll try
To forget what I was
Justify your cause

Don't know what I made. Read and say whether it was nice...

Alantie - August 9, 2006 06:25 PM (GMT)
:o Wow, another nice poem!!! It definately reminds me of Zelink in some ways, the flying through memories and losing friends. . . You have a knack for writing poetry! ^_^

I think I'm going to need to write a new story for a comp. soon, because my english teacher mentioned me to the English head of department, and they're gonna give me a flyer. First of all things, I need a plot, I have a partial one in mind, because it is related to my second poem (Check the Akatsuki no Kurama posts and look for the SECOND POEM I posted).

I'm gonna repost this post in the Ideas for fics, and yeah. I need help. Because it's from scratch. Daunting.
