Title: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Description: Spoilers afoot!

WOW!
I found it absolutely amazing. :D Although the LT annoys me, I'm just guessing it's gonna end as WillxLiz....xD They *are* still engaged! They were supposed to be married already! >_< Some of my favorite scenes would have to be when Liz is all "I'm searching for the man I love!" And Jack's like.... What? And when the Commador, Will, n Jack are all fighting and Liz is throwing a fit and then she's like "Oh....The heat!" *faint* And she cracks one eye open and they're all still fighting and she's like....>_______< And stalks off to steam criss-cross-applesauce style. xD Barbossa looked younger....I swear. *bites an all-too-green apple xD* I also loved it when Jack shoots the monkey and says "Look! An undead monkey." It reallyyyy pissed me off when Liz was all making out with Jack and Will's face..Oh my gosh, I nearly jumped out of my seat and ran at the theatre screen screaming like a banshee trying to rip Liz's eyes out of their sockets. xD The battle scenes were awesome! On the waterwheel.... And I LOVED Jack and his jar of dirt. x3 "I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a jar of dirt, and guess what's inside it!" *falls over* ...."I've got it!" xD
SOO MANY SCENES TO LOVE!
Especially the beginning with the crow peckin' on the coffin and he shoots it from within. xD I was like WOAH! Where'd that come from!?!? xD
I just wish they could've left the love as it was. xD Although I don't really think Jack lurves Lizzy...And I do think Lizzy loves Will....As said in the CxA forums, I think Liz was enamored with the life of a pirate, and Jack was the closest thing to it.
I also loved Mr. Glass eye's reformed religiousness. xD It was sooo funny!
Dirty Harry - July 18, 2006 03:23 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the plot, and new pairings. I had no idea! :D
Lutearina - July 18, 2006 03:59 PM (GMT)
Hahaha, you're welcome! xD
The whole thing is rather...Interesting. VERY much more complicated than the first. What with Davy Jones and everything.
Paladin's Heart - July 18, 2006 04:36 PM (GMT)
Oh yes, the dreaded Jack/Elizabeth scene. I guess I wasn't alone in the whole 'making a whole big deal out of it' thing either. I didn't go too crazy, all I said was a loud, long, droning 'ewwwwwwwwwwww'. After that, I think of her as a deceptive whore xD.
Compared to the first movie, however, the scenes were unrealistic. You'd think when the Commodor, Will and Jack were all on the wheel-thingy would've fallen to it's side after what...three seconds? But oh no, it went on, which defies the laws of gravity and their sense of balance, whatsoever. Plus, the canabals aiming randomly into the water would've hit someone in a 1/10000000 chance. Either that, or they have really bad aim.
Oh well, the movie was really cool, I guess. I loved the Kraken though <3.
Dirty Harry - July 18, 2006 04:59 PM (GMT)
As a man, we do believe ms. Swan has no other admirable features unless she's as the captain on the ship that took her out of Port Royal described her. Sorry, but just had to add in because I'm high, and I just saw the movie.
I really exposes Jack as a bit of a baddy, even during the end. Because he keeps on acting for his ow good sorta (even the last part, he sorta gives up, and just realises tht he has nothign else to lose, and his chances are better inside the stomach, than out)
I think they hit the randomer crew members that werent important.
BANG! Jack sits up. "Sorry mate..." looking at the Dead Crow feathers around him. He reaches into the coffin, to find a large human leg. "You don't mind us taking a detour, aye?" With that, the uses the leg as a paddle and begins to maneuver the coffin like a canoe. "Thought not."

I guess most of you guys are hardcore WillxLiz fans... I love JackxLiz. <3 I still support WillxLiz though. =]
I thought the movie was fantabulous. I loved the jar of dirt. =]
I'm surprised no one brought up the ending. The ending had me oh-so-surprised. I thought the boots walking down the stairs was Jack, but it was Barbossa and I was like 'OMG! O_O' and then the movie ended. Snapcracklepop.
Lutearina - July 22, 2006 05:49 PM (GMT)
Ohhhhh yeah. xD *agrees with PH*
Although, didn't someone in the CxA forums say that Keira begged the director to let her kiss Jack? xDDDDDD
I LOVE THE JAR OF DIRT <3 Tis the new tagline.
"I want my jar of dirt."
"Don't touch my dirt."
"I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a jar of dirt, and guess what's inside it!"
*shoot* "Look, an undead monkey."
I had no idea what to expect with the end. I KNEW it couldn't be Jack because they were going to SAVE him, sillies. xDDDD And those boots looked familiar. I said "...BARBOSSA!?!?" Before he came on and my friend, who had seen it before, was like "Heck yes, Rachel. Barbossa." xDDD
Also...Did you notice Tia had that locket that's the same as Davy Jones' music box? O__O
Alantie - July 27, 2006 06:01 PM (GMT)
Tia had the same music box  Weird. . . .
Though I must say, I didn't like Dead Man's Chest as well as the first movie. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it felt like a huge long trailer for the next movie. Kinda like how Chain of Memories was for the KH games ^_^;
I LOVE the jar of dirt lines! They make me laugh
As for the LT of the movies, for me I am a diehard Will/Liz fan. I think all the stuff between Liz and Jack was more a lust/curiousity thing than any actuall romance. I too Lutey heard that Keira begged to kiss Johnny on CxA forums :)
Liz sort of bugged me in this movie. I'm not really sure why. I loved her character in the first movie, but this time around she seemed really annoying. Meh, maybe it was just me. . .
AmayaSaria - July 28, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
Oh wow. I don't know why I haven't posted here yet.

I dunno why, but Liz has always bugged me. Even in the first movie. *shrugs* She just seems....spoiled. Well to me at least. Maybe I'm just being mean.
I don't really care who she ends up with. Will or Sparrow. Buttt I like the idea of a single Sparrow....so Will it is!
I dunno why, maybe its 'cause I don't like Orlando that much that I don't like Will that much either. He seems clingly/whiny. ^^ So Will and Liz can be together. I like their characters better when they're together anyway. Single Jack! YAY!
Erm. I was gonna say something else. I forgot.
Alantie - July 28, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Liz does seem a bit spoiled, but in this one she was WAY worse than in the first one. Maybe it was what she did to Jack that bothered me. Maybe it was the way she kissed Jack, knowing that Will would see. Maybe it was because in the first one she was a fairly balanced character and in this one it was kind of thrown off. *small sigh*
*covers ears* I'll pretend I didn't hear you say that you hate Orli, Amaya ;) Well, you didn't say hate, but you said didn't like him. . . Ehehehehe, diehard Orli fan, what can I say?
I too think Jack is better off single. I can't see him settling down with a family or anything like that, which is what I think Liz wants. If Jack ever got married, she'd have to be a highly unusual woman, let's just put it that way.
CrazygurlMadness - August 19, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
I find that the ending showed too much that it was a middle movie. LotR didn't do that. The Two Towers wasn't a standalone, but it could still be watched without the third movie.
It's like they just took PotC 2, and split it into PotC 2 and PotC 3.
And, I mean, Barbossa isn't dead??????? What a strange plot device.
I didn't mind Liz and Jack. I find that she had lots of guts to do what she did. I mean, it doesn't exactly make sense, since Jack showed comical attraction in the first movie, and suddenly he wants to get married, and then Liz is all like, 'why the heck is the compass pointing Jack?'...
Still, it was a fun movie. Very entertaining. But they better fill in the plot holes in the third movie, otherwise it's a flop.
Also, I noticed that the Shaman lady has the same music pendant as the one in Davy Jone's organ room--the one Will hits and makes Jones sleep? Shaman lady had like, the exact same one. I can see where this is going, can't you?
Lutearina - September 4, 2006 06:01 AM (GMT)
Yes, indeedy, indeedy. xD
Tia Dalma=Davy Jone's love=WHAT THE- NO WAY=Tia Dalma got it from somewhere cause she has all this crap...?
SO weird...It was, quite obviously, a filler movie.
*agrees with Alantie about Orli fangirlism xD*
Alantie - September 5, 2006 02:57 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I figure that Tia has to be Davy's love. I mean, she knows all kinds of crap about him that no one else does, she has the pendant thingy, and when Davy was first mentioned, she acted all weird, ya know?
PoC2=filler movie, yes, that is so true. I was so mad about the ending!! Lol, you should have heard me in the theatre. "Wait-wait- they're just messing with us right? That can't be the ending. . . NO!!! IT CAN'T END HERE!!!!" That was pretty much how it was.
I'm glad you agree with me about Orli, Lutey! *hands over an Orli flag* Especially that scene with him where they ripped his shirt off? :o I practically choked on my popcorn at that part!
gr33n_sl33ves - September 10, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
It was kinda embarrassing for me to watch PotC2 because one of the friends I saw it with is such a complete Orli fangirl, and she was squeeing the whole time he was on screen >_<
But I embarrassed her, though, by swearing loudly and scaring the twinks who were sitting in front of us when Barbossa showed up (the little pests were giggling and talking on their cell phones for practically the whole damn movie >_<)
And I wonder what kind of mark Jack left on the East India Trading Company guy. I betcha it's something on the ass; a big fat brand XD
Dirty Harry - September 23, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
Aww...poor green sleeves...*pats her on the head*...
Actually, that's not right. *presses rewind*
Aww, poor green sleeves, getting embarassed by her friend like that...*looks uncomfortable, unsure of what to do*
Okay, I shall quietly back away. :D
Though, I encourage swearing. By all means, please elaborate on what you said. :D
Lutearina - September 23, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
Noo, DH! NONONO! D:
I discourage swearing! xD Hyaa! *kicks DH*
Dirty Harry - September 24, 2006 06:25 AM (GMT)
Are you American?
That explains it all!
*blocks kick, and sends DragonBallZ style ball of energy back*
That was suppoed to be a lame joke of sarcasm. :D
gr33n_sl33ves - September 24, 2006 06:29 AM (GMT)
I can't remember most of what I said actually, only that it was quite loud and said in a rather fast, growly kind of way ^-^;;
