*Gaara looked up to see a rare Desert Hawk circling above him. He smiled as he watch it soar free through the air for several minutes until it was no longer a dot on the horizon, then he looked back to the villiage and his small smile grew even wider for just a moment.* "i'll defend this villiage with my life...then they will see...I have changed." he whispered as he walked back indoors to meet his Brother for dinner. *

The hawk flew through the air, enjoying the feel of the wind under her feathers as she drifted along on the breeze as the day slowly turned into twilight. She soared through the air enjoying herself like this until she spotted the area where the desert ended and the forest began. Suddenly, out of no where, she dropped suddenly, and held her wings close to her as she plummeted in a spiral towards the ground. She made a sharp turn at just the last moment and flew back upwards just in time to avoid a splattering death. She repeated this act several times, each time growing bolder and plummeting from higher places in the air, until several small figures caught her eye from just the edge of the woods. she plummeted one last time, then circled down almost lazily and landed on the ground. Any passersby would have been shocked to see in the bird's place, there suddenly standing a pale-skinned girl with cat ears and five long black tails. The most noticable feature about the girl however, were her eyes. They were deep, penetrating saphire with emerald and purple-amethyst specks. The pupil's were shaped like a cat's. Anyone who saw those eyes would be immediately pulled in...yet shocked at the unfeeling ampathy coming from them. She raised her hand to the figures in the woods and smiled as they came running. The figures turned out to be animals of different races. They all yipped and mewed and cawed and practically danced around the girl as she laughed at they're antics. "Yes, Yes, I saw the human's villiage. It was interesting. Now what do you say we camp for the night in the woods and then tomorrow check out the other villiage? no?" She said in a quiet, musical voice that had a strange accent to it. The girl pulled her cloak over her head and walked with the animals into the woods. Unaware of the fact that she was being watched by two people in strange cloaks...
