Metathran Shock Troopers, Using Marine stats for an allied race

After engagements against space marines on Medusa V the Fio genetic engineers created Metathran infantry. The genes of various predators were intoduced into that of cloned dna from the greatest heros of the Gue'la. The result was eight foot tall supermen that wieghed hundreds of pounds of muscle and were equals in combat to an astartes.
The Etherial castes views on this project changed soon after the program reached the hundred thousand mark. They saw these soldiers as perversions of life and not a neccasary part of the greater good.
The eldar warriors of Ulthwe contacted the sept where these experiments were taking place and offered to use these pure monkeigh as warriors against chaos. They armored them with wraithbone carapaces and the tau provided the pulse weapons. They are now led by a pair of elite warriors the Lord Grand Marshal Agnate and his identical brother Thaddeus Master of Blades their greatest warrior. Their campaign into the eyes of terror prove them to be an equal match for the Legions of Old.

They are count as Ultramarines for all purposes.

Considering they are a tau/eldar mix (not genetically speaking) should't they have tau/eldar sounding names/ranks

They generally do, i just took the commanders names from the book i got the idea from Invasion by Magic:TG

The regular troops have eldar names the commanders full names are longer and these are the names the imperium call them. In reality Agnate is Agnatis Ghufran Thrannesh and Thadeus is Thadorum Menshad Fayiz I should call them by those names instead the tau in fact had little to do with them after creation as they stayed in stasis for later use. The eldar simply offered to take them off their hands. Thus leading to most of their equipment being eldar such as their wraith armor and chainswords.

The eldar refused to give them shuriken weapons as these were considered too precious to give to the metathran soldiers and the rifles that the tau supplied were surplus and actually weaker than those given to fire warriors.

I dont how i would model these. I think i will use the bodies of space marines with dire avenger helms and striking scorpion chainswords and tau pulse carbine arms although i dont know how this will look, it may be pretty disproportionate. If only warp spiders were a multipeice plastic unit i would use it instead.

I'm changing the list it should be Ultramarines now that i think of it, as i want a more codex organisation. I was only thinking of doing the troops as bring the fight to them marines but a 10 based army fits their more manufactured standardness.
