Sand...Sand...Sand...

Even from her place behind the window of the fairly small brick building, the Neko's ears could be found laying back almost flat. She was not at all pleased to be in Agrabah, and she wasn't at all sure how she had gotten there to begin with. First and most important, there was just far too much sand. She couldn't find anything around Agrabah besides sand, sand, and more sand. There was too much of the light brown material for her to be happy. She wasn't going to be happy until she got to leave Agrabah, but so far her Gummi Ship wasn't willing to cooperate with her. And someone from the town had suggested it had something to do with it getting over heated. He suggested she try tomorrow, but Kali wanted out now.

Besides the sand though, the beating hot sun on her skin wasn't helping matters at all. Her normal slightly pale features were turning a light shade of pink from being out in the sun too long. If she dared to travel back out into the open for an hour longer, she could be assured she would wake up the very next day looking like a lobster. She didn't like being out in the sun too long, but being in the middle of a desert where she no one, that just made things worse.

And yet, she doubted very much whether she could get away with being inside the shop without buying anything for too much longer. Kali could still feel the piercing gaze of the shop keeper on her and she didn't like it. In fact, she on any other occasion Kali wouldn't have been so nervous or tense. But as it was, she wasn't having a good day and she was far too hot to be in the mood for happy.

"If you're not going to buy anything then get out!"

Her Neko ears perked up at the sound of his voice and she turned her piercing gray eyes to the shop keeper. She opened her mouth to snap something back at him, but then stopped and took a deep breath.

One..Two...Three...Four...Five...

Slowly she let the breath out and said calmly, "I'm sorry, sir. I'm just a bit lost and I'm not at all use to this weather..."

She turned away from the shop keeper now and walked to the door. She didn't want to make a big scene now. That would only add on to her already dwindling temper and she didn't want to get in anymore trouble then needed for the day. No...Trouble would have to wait for a later date. For the time being she needed to find a place to stay. Or at the very least go out and explore the surroundings for a bit.

As she stepped out of the shop and under the beating sun above, Kali could feel a very small breeze blow through her pure white hair. She smiled at this, realizing just how good it felt. If she was going to be stuck in Agrabah for the day, there was no point in wasting it on being mad about being stuck in the middle of nowhere. At least she was lucky she was in a town.

Walking away from the shop, Kali could hear the soft crunching of sand from underneath her with every step she took. Eventually she made it a sort of rhythm, which at least gave her something to do as she surveyed the rest of the shops.

So far, she hadn't found anything of interest to her. But what she did find the moment she broke her gaze away from most of the shops was that she had walked up a large ramp which now brought her to another section of the city. Though as her soft gray eyes surveyed this section, she found at least another three or so sections to visit. No..She would be better off with the section she was already in.

With a soft thud, Kali had jumped from the wall and landed back on the sand on both her feet. Another smile graced her features at this, but she continued on walking, though this time not really paying any mind to the other shops. In fact, perhaps it had been the sun that had gotten to her, because she wasn't even contemplating finding a place to rest for the night.
