Thanks! I can actually really use these! I especially liked the part about not using the gradiant tool. I used to use it because I thought it made everything shiny.

Okay, so I read the one about making grass tiles and thought I'd give it a go. It's not really that great but it's my first grass tile.

Here's a screenshot of SWORDS with the new tile:

Sure is a good thing I have an artist for Cybertronic Armageddon! I suck at that!

Now if only I could convince him to work on SWORDS after Cyb. Arm. is done...

I think artists are a definite necessity for a game to make lots of money these days.

Only problem is that it takes money to make money. smile.gif

I'm not looking to roll in cash or anything. If anything, I just want people to play and enjoy.

I hadn't even considered going down the indie/shareware route until I learned (many many years ago) that you could bring in a little extra cash.
