Hello, I'm Hanz63384 (Skilled Hanz), currently 99 thieving, teaching you the fastest and easiest ways to get 99 thieving. This is a guide for any levels from level 3 to 138.

The first thing you're going to need is food. At most places you can pickpocket foods from stalls, in the later levels you're going to need to buy food, though.

Recommended items:
-Gloves of silence for higher success rates
-Boots of lightness for Pyramid Plunder
-Spottier cape for Pyramid Plunder
-Light armor (dragon hide is recommended)
-Blackjack (maple, regular, (o) and (d) do the same things) for blackjacking

Thieving is an underestimated skill and takes a lot of concentration.

Tip: Stick to it! If you stick to it, chances are you'll have it sooner or later.

Levels 1 to 65 is pretty much straight up pickpocketing.

Experience per pickpocket: 8
Loot: 3gp
Location: Throughout Runescape

Levels 5-25: Cake/Tea stalls.
Experience per stall: 16
Loot: Cake stall: Cake, chocolate cake slice, bread
Tea stall: Cup of tea
Location: Cake stall: Ardougne, Keldagrim
Tea stall: Varrock

Levels 25-38: Warriors.
Experience per pickpocket: 26
Loot: 18gp
Location: Al-Kharid, Ardougne, Varrock Palace

Levels 38-55: Master Farmers.
Experience per pickpocket: 43
Loot: all seeds (except tree seeds)
Location: Draynor, Ardougne, south of Varrock

Levels 55-65: Ardougne Knights.
Experience per pickpocket: 84.3
Loot: 50gp
Location: Ardougne

Levels 65-91: Menaphite Thugs.
Experience per pickpocket: 137.5
Loot: 60gp
Location: Pollnivneach
Requirements: Completion of The Feud quest, 200gp, Shantay pass and a blackjack.
Recommended items: 26 monk fish, desert robes and a teleporting method.

Getting to Pollnivneach: Walk to the Shantay Pass in Al-Kharid. Once there, bank your inventory and get through the gate. Walk southeast where you will see a flying carpet and a carpet merchant.

Talk to the merchant and ask to travel to Pollnivneach. Walk south until you see Menaphite Thug roaming around. Trap one in a house by selecting the right-click "Lure" option, some it might not work on because they're "busy".

The method of blackjacking is the concept of knocking a menaphite out, and pickpocketing him as many times as you can (2 max, it isn't that hard once you get used to it), the menaphite will wake up, not knowing what happened to him.

If you fail, the menaphite will say "I'll kill you for that!" or the basic "What do you think you're doing?" when you fail a pickpocket. When this happens, he will attack you, just knock him out before he can.

Note: If there are two menaphites in the same room, you will not be able to knock them out.

Pyramid Plunder is a mini-game that averages to about 210k exp/hr, having at least 91 Thieving.

The concept of the mini-game is to steal as many of the mummy's artifacts as you can within 5 minutes.

Recommended items: Pharaoh's Sceptre, spottier cape, boots of lightness, gloves of silence, antipoison, terrorbird and terrorbird scrolls, or super energy potions, monk fish, and a teleporting method.

First off, find the door the mummy's in, you can use your Pharaoh's Sceptre to teleport to the mummy, too. Once you've found the mummy, start the minigame.

Once in the game, make your way through the trap and find the correct door to the next room. You can also search the chest for a chance of finding a Pharaoh's Sceptre. Repeat this until you've reached the 7th room.

Once you've reached room 7, get pass the trap, and search for snakes on all of the urns in the room (do not open the sarcophagus! It's completely useless and annoys everybody).

Once you've searched all of the urns, make your way to the 8th room. Here, search all of the urns and if you have extra time, search the chest.

To get level 99 Thieving for skillers, it's pretty much like doing it on a normal account.

Follow the guide up to level 61, and continue to 99 with Pyramid Plunder.

Everyone I have ever known to train agility has done Master Farmers, like Colin who did them all the way to 65!
