2009 Magic: The Gathering Indonesian National Championship
Sunday, June 28, 2009 Location (see location map for detail) West Wing ITC Permata Hijau 4th Floor Permata Hijau Jakarta Selatan Tournament & Rule Enforcement Level The 2009 Indonesian National Championship is open to all qualified players who meet the eligibility requirements. The 2009 Indonesian Nationals will run under REL 4 (Competitive) 40K-Value. Players are expected to have a thorough understanding of all tournament rules and procedures, including, but not limited to, the DCI Universal Tournament Rules, the DCI Universal Penalty Guidelines, and the Magic: The Gathering® DCI Floor Rules. Registration Entry Fee will be IDR 100,000 (Pre-register & Fully paid) and IDR 150,000 (On-site registration- Strongly not recommended) based on availability (Max capacity 100 person) Pre-registration open until June 27, 2009. On-site registration : 9.00-9.30 AM June 28, 2009 ( On availability basis) Players Meeting : 9.30 -10.00 AM June 28, 2009 (On site) Tournament start : 10.00 AM Sharp (1st Pairing) Jakarta : Comic N Games, Mall Taman Anggrek 3rd floor; Yopi Effendi; Phone 021- 5696-3855 Division, Format and Structure The 2008 Indonesian Nationals will be a 1-Day Open Format tournament. Each player will receive boosters pack used for booster draft and lunch coupon. 1. Head Judge : The Head Judge for National Championship will be Marco Maruto 2. Sunday, June 28: Four 50-minute Swiss rounds of Standard Constructed followed by three 50-minute Swiss rounds of Alara Block Booster Draft (Shard of Alara-Conflux-Alara Reborn) played in pods. Top 8 players advance to the Finals. 3. The Standard portion of the event will include Alara Block + Lorwyn Block + Shadowmoor Block + Tenth Edition 4. Top 8 Finals: Standard Constructed; Players advancing to the finals must continue to use the same Standard deck. Prizes 1. Main Prizes (Subject to change) Place Prize 1st USD 1,000, Invitation to World Champ, 1 Booster Box 2nd 1 Booster Box 3-4 24 Booster each 5-6 20 Booster each 7-8 16 Booster each 9-10 12 Booster each 11-12 8 Booster each 13-14 6 Booster each 15-16 4 Booster each 2. Top 50 Finisher will get exclusive National merchandise • Only the Champion of the 2009 Indonesian Nationals will receive invitation to compete in the 2006 Magic: The Gathering World Championships. |
