Now post what you think is the optimal build from this pool. I believe this will help us all in this format. Ill post my build later on

WR landfall.....u get the most of your removals this way.

Thought about Green for a second due to the decent 2-drops, but i don't think it's deep enough to risk the manabase.

nissa's chosen is GG and would be very hard to cast early, and you have enough 2-drops in WR. that leaves the 2x oran-rif survivalist, which is not enough to be my sole reason to delve into green.

a real shame that u didn't get tattering peaks to go with such aggro-tempo minded deck.
the only downside of this strategy would be its proneness to Marsh Casualties.

going with maxi on this one: WR aggro.
Here's my build:

lands:
1 kabira crossroads
1 soaring seacliff
8 plains
8 mountain

creatures (15):
2 steppe lynx
1 goblin bushwhacker
1 highland berserker
1 ondu cleric
1 plated geopede
1 kor aeronaut
1 kabira evangel
3 kor sanctifiers
1 shatterskull giant
1 geyser glider
2 tuktuk grunts

other spells (7):
1 trusty machete
1 burst lightning
2 journey to nowhere
1 pitfall trap
1 slaughter cry
1 spire barrage

I know spire barrage doesn't sound too sexy with only 8 mountains, but 2-3 damage is usually enough reach for this deck.

yeah it should be RW, agreed. but what about black ? it has 3 giant scorpion, disfigure, and the best creature in the format :D, green also has 2 oran rief survivalist & 2 harrows, which goes well with the mini ally theme.

i went with 5c allies :( thought i can pull it off with the harrows, but yeah i wasnt just thinking clear that time. went 2-3 drop.

the problem with black is not enough playables, and top-heavy creature curve (what i mean by top-heavy is essentially no 2-drops).

imo, DoJ is the best card you can open in a sealed deck, and draft if that matters, and not playing with it is just plain wrong
