Why do they do it? Whats the fun in hacking down someones hard work?
Man those kids from national anime needs to grow up and there charging for anime thats suppose to be availabe for free. What a laugh. Fansubbers do say that if you've paid for it then you've been ripped off. |

lol actually charging for direct downloads I think is reasonable cos after all they have to pay for server cost... unless there are donars.. but seldom do ppl want to download.
Hacking down sites are fun to some ppl I suppose |

To be honest, I'm not sure if what the fansubbers are doing is legal. They're redistributing copyrighted material, as are the people who host it.
But charging for it, that's even more illegal, unless you've found a loophole in the system. As far as hacking goes, it's just exploiting power. It's the same thrill people get when they steal, rape, or whatever. You're question is kinda like asking why powerful people become corrupt. |
