Pretty impressive, some quality football against a Vale team that could also play a bit,Kins and Nag up front can be a handful for any defence,Scruff and Dovey showed their experience , as I have said earlier on if any team wants to come and play football (as did the Vale today) then they will have a hard time against the Grove lads.
It was good to see Dave Shaw given another runout although I think he is still a little bit "ring rusty" after his op, thought that Johnny Birks slotted in at left back quite well but will benefit from coming off of the bench for a few games yet.
Shaun and his management team seem to be heading in the right direction with the lads just a couple more "old heads" needed to turn us into a better than average side side with potential .
