is john rowley still involved with tunstall town, although i respect john I think it is a big mistake to oust out peter and bucko. although the results have not been the best they could have we were always assured of staying in the league. when I was secretary of the club alas I had to finish through ill health I always knew with wardy and bucko that we would always turn out a team both home and away even with the leagues stupidity of long travel to far away places, a team to compete which was essential.
I always have kidsgrove athletic in my thoughts and I am still thrilled when I see they have had a good result, I don't look to the future of the team as an improvement without the former management and hope the chairmans axing can be reversed, I know john has always said that the wage bill should be a lot less but surely must realise that grove are part of the pyramid and not a laughing stock as his tunstall toen team are with the community, although giving retired age players a game of football is a unique opportunity. may grove survive this hiccup and go on to better things. regards tommo |
