I was living on the farm with my folks and I was one month away from turning 13 & I felt like nothing good was going to happen to me.

The first time I saw John was at World's of fun (that's in Kansas City, Mo) amusement park and I didn't know much about back stage passes & I wish I did, but the magazines (like 16, teen beat, tiger beat, etc.) of the time didn't say how to get a backstage passes for concerts (or at least that I remember), but the most that I remember most is that wave. I had been waving (with my hands) real big at him for sometime (trying to get his attention) and finally he saw me (while he was singing one of the songs for the album "It's now or never") & waved back with a smile on his face and I felt like I was on cloud 9.

I forgot my Mother's camera that day and so I never got a picture of him, but it's pressed between the pages of my mind, because of that wave.
It may not seem that big of a deal, but it was something to me.

It just shows that he was and is a great guy!
I would love to meet him again (as long as he writes or calls first)!!
