We may be a small community, but we get as much out of life as any of them city livers. In this town every little morsel of juciy gossip is chewed up and spread through the town like wildfire. And there isn't any use in trying to hide, someone will always find out. Our town also has it's own little ranch, run and owned by Sarah Gunner. So if ya need a job, she could always use a hand down at Jasper Gulch. Not to mention, we've got ourselfs a fine little bar that's open 24/7. So come on in, grab yourself a hat and start livin!

Snow has begun to cover the ground and everything else as a matter of fact. Yes, it's winter time in Flatsprings and with it brings the first chill of winter. People are wearing layers and a heavy jacket whenever they go outside.

This here bar is a place that will never go out of business. Everyone comes here, whether it's to drink or just watch football with your buddies. A nice little lady named Annie Parker runs this joint 24/7, so there's always a place to hang.

This is the only gas station in the town, and is located right on the outskirts. This is the first thing any traveller see's and is often stopped at by many friendly people. It's always open late, and is also the first job for a few needy teens.

Drug Store
Here we have our drug store, where the townsfolk get their medecine. Some may call it the Pharamcy now but all the older townspeople still like to refer to it as the Drug Store. Must have a perscription signed by a doctor to buy drugs. Everything else that the store might hold you do not.

The Vet's
This is the place where the townsfolk bring their sick and hurt animals to be treated. The mayor of Flatsprings has made sure that only the best doctor's and nurse's are hired, that come through. He does that because he cares about his towns animals, just as he cares for the people.

John's Butchery
The local butchery or meat shop is owned by John Thompson. It's been passed down through four generation's of John's in the Thompson family. Sells some of the best meat product for 100 miles around.

This here is the only church in town, and though there may be many different religions here church is just church. No one is distinguished as Lutheran, Catholic, Christian, or by an other religion.

The Grocery Store
Ah, the grocery store. The place everyone goes to collect food and store up for winter. It is well known for it's imported foods, since there really isn't much of a farm around this town. And even then it is usually the bare essentials that most people buy, such as soup, flour, eggs, milk and vegetables and fruit. The grocery does not sell meat since it all goes to John's Butchery.

Paws, Claws, and Everything Else! Pet Shop
This pet shop carries all types of animals, though not all of them are there at the same time. Puppies and kitties are popular so they are always in stock, but rarely bought animals aren't usually kept in great supply. The place is run by a young, perky woman by the name of Andrea Hattling. The shop is rather new, ony having been in the town for a year.

It's the place everyone dreads going, the Dentist. The town only has two dentist's to speak of, so things are spread pretty even between the two with tending the townspeople. Though not all, but most keep their teeth in top shape since they hate going to the Dentist's.

Horeseshoe Hospital
Horeshoe Hospital is named in honor of the great wild horses that use to roam the land, long ago. All the staff are friendly and love their job. Not to mention, their pretty good at it as opposed to some person pulled off the street to be a doctor without a degree.

Some of the most brave men and women have been apart of this task force, and their memories still live through the old photos hung up on the wall. Many think to become apart of this work force, is a great honor only bestowed upon those most worthy. So, when you pass by someone wearing a uniform make sure to say a greeting to them folks!

The Meadow Inn was founded just a year after the town was first started. It's been around for years, and is known to take good care of all who stay inside it's four walls. In honor of it's name it is painted a light, airy yellow like that of a yellow daisy.

Main Yard
The main yard contains wild horse pens, cattle pens, a barn and the main stabling area. The four paddocks available to the bording and ranch horses are not far from the main yard and have pace enough for a large herd to move in. There are only 30 stalls available at the main stabling area, 8 of which are Jasper Gulch horses. For injured animals or other boarding horses, there are 2 accomodating areas in the barn.

Ranch House
This is the home of Sarah, her guests and the beloved Butch. It contains five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a living/lounge room, and a dining room. It isn't very fancy, and there isn't any modern things except for the toilets and sinks. It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect a ranch house to look like. On the outside it is painted white and a light biege on the inside.

Bunker
This is home to all of the ranch hands, that stay on Jasper Gulch. It has two bathrooms, eight sets of double bunk beds and a small kitchen. It isn't painted but made of dark wood, supplied by the local carpentry store. All ranch hands are exrected to keep it in good condition.

TADTI
Troubled and Depressed Teen Initiative is a program that bring children from all over to certain places in what they call "horse country". Horses are known to help children with disabilites and other ailments. Caring for a horse and creating a bond with the specified animal will create a new vision for the teenagers enrolled in TADTI. This program can have up to 12 teenagers at a time, during any part of the year. Whoever you are, where ever you are and whatever has made you how you are, TADTI is willing to help you. Jasper Gulch has decided to embrace this initivative and the program has opened for the first time.
