Title: Canadian CADPAT Helmet

Hi all, in the summer of 1999 I was chosen to be part of a team of Military Police who would travel by convoy to Canadian Forces Base Kingston, and train with the Canadian Army. We worked for two weeks in Kingston and then the Canadians travelled to Camp Grayling MI to complete field excercises with us. Some of the units we worked with include the Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI, a very well respected unit.) The Princess of Wales own Rifles (PWOR), the Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR), and Canadian M.P.s from all over the country. While there I was able to do some trading and I got this very hard to obtain CADPAT kevlar helmet. The Canadian forces are quite small and getting the CADPAT gear is difficult and expensive at best. Just thought I would post it here. Scott.

The inside showing the suspension and chin straps. I might mention that the camo cover has a built in veil that tucks into a flap in the back. Truly a neat piece of gear Scott.
