WELCOME to Indigo Sea. =3 A literate tribal werewolf roleplay, to put everything in a nutshell. <3 It has been worked on for quite a while but is finally nearing completion! Which is a mighty good thing since I'm about to passout with how much work this place needed to get it up and running. None the less! I hope you look around and join, or, if not just leave a message saying what you think of the place? What ought to be changed for it to be more appeasing? Would be mighty thankful if you do. Be awful if so much work went into it and something was off that could be changed. Also! If you by chance have a question, feel free to use the c-box to ask it. =] |
JULY 09 Hurhurhur. See the ducks come marching innnn! See the ducks come... |

Updates Changes made to the forum will be posted here for all to see and know of. Reading this section is undoubtedly wise as one would be less likely to miss important information if they do. Items here are entirely out of character and will always remain unlocked. A discussion [not rants or tantrums] on an update is welcome. To do so simply reply to that particular update so things may remain relatively organized.

Statistics Within is information on the wolves of our roleplay and their way of life. There is also data on the land and the season, as well as the ranks of the Pack. Most of the items located inside the section is dedicated to in character items. As all things under this category are, reading this would be a clever thing to do, and is expected of you. Articles are kept relatively up-to-date, but if you notice any inconsistencies please do point them out so they may be corrected.

Archive Finished threads are rarely deleted. All finished ones collect here for them to be viewed later on. Inside is a mixture of in character and out of character threads but all will be listed alphabetically so it will be a bit easier to use. Unfinished threads that have fallen inactive [ones that have not been posted in for a month] will be placed here also. Incomplete threads may be resurrected if the players of the thread desire it.

Gossip Talk about whatever you like but remember that some things are simply not appropriate. Feel free to spam away and ramble on and on till eternity ends if you’d like. But, please don’t forget the roleplaying aspect of the forum? This area is dedicated mostly to miscellaneous chatter… the ‘other’ section, really, so try to keep it that way. If your topic matches another section more, post there instead. Thank you. =]

Events If you'd like your character to breed / birth children, or if you'd like to register a fight, do so here. This is required, any mating or any fights that occurs without them being noted here will not be valid and will be, most likely, punished out of character-ly. This is to keep things in order, so all know if they are being challenged, if a fight needs to be watched or judged, and to make certain there aren't too many young pups running amuck. The important in character event may not take place unless it has been posted here and accepted by staff.

Missing If you will be leaving the forum, please post so here. It would be lovely if you are planning to leave to give us a 'because', but it isn't required. Though, on the contrary, if you plan to go on vacation or a hiatus, please include an estimation of how many days you will be gone, so you won't leave those you are roleplaying with hanging or others wondering where you have went.

Profiles Profiles translate to our applications. This is where you find the form you must fill out in order to bring in a character. Please do follow the directions given about the form, so as to avoid having to constantly edit and change things to meet our requirements. You may not play a character until that character has been accepted in this thread. A character may be accepted by an administrator or moderator.

Memoirs If you would like to keep records of the threads your character has been in and who they have met then you may do so here. This is also a place where you can put up notices and other information about your character that was not asked in the application form. There is no form to follow, no preset guidelines - just do whatever you like, but try to keep your records up-to-date and appropriate. One thread per character.

The Mountain Summit | Pack Territory The climb up the mountain is, naturally, quite dangerous. Loose rocks and minor avalanches have killed numerous others… and whiteouts, storms, and the occasional lone murderer has killed numerous more. Though this is pack territory many loners frolic about the mountain… and truth be known it seems not to bother the pack overly so. The mountain has little use these days, other then to be another turf for them to own, another landmark to claim theirs. In days of old it was used as a vantage point, a lookout to see oncoming storms and to survey the land. But the newer generations have grown tired of trekking the rough, perilous journey just to see a blizzard, minor in ever way, coming. Nonetheless the mountain is a rather romantic spot if one can find one of the few caves littered about, and can find it pointing the sunset or the sunrise, whichever the Romeo thinks more beautiful. If one can reach the Summit one would find the most glorious, most… striking and most breath taking view, however… but few make it to the top, and fewer yet have lived to tell of what they see.

The Boreal Forest | Pack Territory The beginning of the coldness starts here. Only two seasons worth note in this place, for those are the only two truly felt. Summer and Winter, with the Summers being chilly and the Winters being freezing. The trees grow thick and well, a mixture of evergreens such as firs, pines, spruces and conifers. The ground often hard and frozen, only hardy plants survive. Prey is a combination of things, such as elk, moose, and smaller things such as rabbits, squirrels and vole. The forest is large and there is rough terrain the closer / higher up the mountain base one goes. The forest provides shelter and is often the place for wolves to camp before daring an ascent to the summit, scouts making sure they see no on coming storms or blizzards before starting the climb. There are many rumors about the massive wood, and none of them are ever heavenly. There is talk of demonic spirits lurking here… of how they murder those who wander away from the hunting party and skin them alive so their screams may be heard. Though more often then not one comes to the forest on their way to the mountain, or to hunt… this has come to be a spot where training is done.

The Cascades | Pack Territory The water comes from the frozen caps of the mountains. The Mountain Summit is but one mountain of a mountain range and is the tallest among them. But, there are others and those others, alongside the tallest, provide fresh, crisp, clear water to the areas below. The water melts from the top and falls into one of the numerous rivers that roughly flow down the incline of the mountains and into the valleys and plains below. After many years and much erosion, and with the help of other lovely weather acts… there has come to be waterfalls dotting the land. And… the most renown is this one. Hidden among the mountain the water weaves, hidden among the forest the water flows… and then it meets a serious of steps, starting as a wonderful cascading waterfall before, later down the river, turning into violent rapids. The rocks around the cascade are slippery, and the chill of the days alongside the cold, cold water bestows onto those who fall in, hypothermia. Drowning is a common way to die in the northern lands, for many underestimate the deadliness of such a stunning natural geological formation.

The Alpine Valley | Pack Border In the distance the mountains forge jagged edges in the sky, behind of course the rolling hills. The valley is above the tree line, above the altitude where most greenery can flourish. Vegetation is short and large bushes / dwarf trees are the closest thing to true trees, though to make up for it there is a bounty of short wildflowers. Hills can be steep and rough... The land vast and windy, there is little cover, little shelter from storms and the like that come. Rocks emerge from the ground in patches in random areas. Some rough and some smoothed, it isn’t rare for one to break bone by falling or slipping, idiotically, on them. There are sudden drops in the land and sharp inclines, and the higher one goes the colder and harder to breathe it becomes. Rivers form slight gorges as they continue their journey to the sea. Deer, small rodents, fowl and hare are creatures one can find around the valley… though hunting in such difficult land isn’t a thing for those inexperienced with it. Only the most skilled hunters hunt here. The better two thirds of it is owned by the pack, the rest is loner land.

The Whitewater Rapids | Loner Lands The journey taken for this water to reach here is a long one. And yet still it remains clean and clear, cold despite it’s descent from higher altitudes. But it is warming as it comes crashing. Breaking among the rocks as it rushes through the area. Slamming into the side walls the water gushes and roars. It’s surface never still, always frothing, always white. The waters are vicious here and the stones, the walkways on either side of the fifteen foot wide river often sprayed with water and slippery. No doubt that any who come this way will get a touch damp while going about risking their lives, for if one falls into the water there is little chance of getting out. One can find the occasional bridge that has yet to erode away, made by nature it arches over the vicious water and connects the two stone shores. There is little prey to be found at the rapids, and one must walk for a good few miles before the stone walls that imprison one in the ravine with the water dies away and opens into the lands of the South.
