What's a Forum?
A forum is like a tack board. You can share text information and even pictures on it, and anyone who goes to the site will be able to see it (unless it's a restricted area). It's a lot like email, but more organized and doesn't contain unwanted material like advertisements for morgages. It's also like a book or phone book: it contains information and directories for people and services. Our forum is completely free.

Why Should I Join the Forum?
The forum is a free service which offers a place to connect and share tricks from magician to magician. The forum is open to all IBM members. There is a place to for reviews of venues and instructional materials; you can also join and list your commercial information to attract more business. Staying abreast of volunteer opportunities and events is as easy as clicking a link and reading the listings. Check the paid opportunities section to find potential patrons. If you have any questions, forum members will help you find the answers you need. Unregistered members can't see all sections of the forum, so it's important that you register.

How Do I Join?
Click http://z3.invisionfree.com/IBMRing81/index.php and look for the "Register" option. Enter the information you'd like to use for the forum, and send a reply to this email when you're done, saying that you'd like me to OK your registration. All this does is keep non-members from getting ahold of the secrets of magic. Be sure to read the "Rules and Guidelines" section in the "News" area. It's right up top of the list!

How Do I Use the Forum?
After you've registered, log in to your account. Validation may take a day or two, but you can read posts while waiting and even reply in some areas. To reply to a series of messages (called a "thread"), hit the "reply" button and type what you'd like to say. Then preview your post or send it. Everyone who has permission to read posts in an area will be able to see what you've written. To write about something new, find and click on the appropriate area to post in, and choose "New Topic".

Help! Why Can't I Post or Reply in (x) Area?
Some places require validation to post or reply in. Be sure you sent an email to Ring81Forum@gmail.com . I will reply to your message when I've validated your account. I will try to be prompt so you can explore and post quickly.

I'm BAD with Computers!
That's okay! I am here to help you. If you have trouble with anything, email Ring81Forum@gmail.com .
