Adair has fine, smooth, straight golden blonde hair that falls past his shoulders reaching the middle of his back. In most cases, it might be construed as a bit too long for a man his age but... despite the length of his hair, one would never mistake him for a girl no matter how silky and shiny his hair is. He has some dark blonde and bright yellow highlights that is noticeable whenever the sun shines on his hair. His usual hairstyle is having half of it pulled away from his face and secured at the back with a leather thong. Otherwise, he just let's it fall down his back.

Adair has a very unique set of eyes. They are almond-shaped under artfully arched thin brows. However... his left eye is a deep blue, the color of the deep blue seas, while his right eye is a brilliant green, the color of new spring grass. At the edges of his eyes are laugh lines proving that he does smile a lot. However, his eyes are very unexpressive that one would not know his true feelings no matter how much one tries to peer into his eyes. He is one that could lie to your face and you would believe it.

Inheriting his height from his dad, at the moment, Adair stands six feet and ten inches tall. His is a body builder's body build, lean and muscular. He has broad shoulders and large muscular biceps. Yet despite his size, he is fast to act in defense or offense if need be. In addition, he is very well coordinated and rarely trips on anything. Adair has inherited his white-alabaster complexion from his mother. And despite his time under the sun, for some reason, Adair's skin never darkens nor does he get a tan which makes a few of the ladies jealous of his silky smooth white skin.

As for his face, Adair has a perfect set of white teeth. His nose is straight and looks just fine within his face. His lips are thin-looking but do not let their image fool you. They are in fact incredibly soft and very much kissable as the ladies that have been fortunate to be kissed will attest. His face could have been termed effeminate but... he just emits this masculine virility especially with his muscular body that one would never doubt Adair's preference for girls. For clothing, Adair will wear anything so long as it does not clash with his look and that they fit him a little loosely. He doesn't like to dress too formally nor does he like to dress very fitting clothes.

Personality: Adair is a very quiet and reserved person. One cannot term him as shy for he does not have that trait in his genes at all, rather, he's a sort of loner because of his many differences from the average person. In addition, Adair is not one for trivial talk and rarely initializes a conversation although... he will speak when spoken to. His quietness in any situation is also one reason that makes him... invisible or forgettable within a crowd. Not only that, Adair is kind of hard to get to know with a personality that one has to peel in layers like an onion. One could say that it is a fault of his personality. But, do not get me wrong, he is the most amiable sort of fellow. It is just that one has to work at Adair's defenses in order to get to know the real him.

However, behind that quiet fascade of his, is a fiery temper that is illogical with his quiet and reserved mentality. And once his ire has been roused, beware the stranger that gets in his path, for there is nothing on Pern that would stop Adair in venting his wrath whether it be verbal or physical. It has been fortunate so far that Adair has only ever vented his wrath verbally, except for the very first time that he vented his anger physically, to anyone or anything that was unfortunate enough to have been in his way. Moreover, despite his tendency to be a loner when amongst most other humans, animals of every sort and size just seem to find him... fascinating for there is never a day that Adair talks about playing with this animal or that. In addition, whenever Adair encounters a hurt animal, he cannot stop himself from helping it no matter if the animal might be considered too dangerous to handle.

Although, among his family and friends, one would find that Adair is an entirely different person. Once you do get to know him, Adair is the kind of person where one could express his or her most deepest darkest secret and not worry about it being spread around the the Hold. He is a warm and kind person always quick to offer his help. Adair does not like to tattle nor does he like people who spread rumors about others. He believes that secrets must be held dear to oneself should a person deem you worthy enough to share a secret. However, if that secret should prove lethal or dangerous, then he would not hesitate in revealing it to the proper authority. In addition, he firmly believes that promises must be kept and never broken unless of course if the promise was made under duress.

In addition, when among family and friends, Adair is more... open and talkative. He always has a ready smile on his face which is where those laugh lines comes from. He is a very loving and caring person always helping out in whatever way he can. In addition, he is very protective of his family and friends. He would even face bullies twice his size in order to defend and protect his few close friends. He is quick to correct others about their etiquette and manners especially his elders. One could almost say that there is no joy in his life because of his quiet and reserved personality when dealing with people outside of his family and friends, however... he is quick to laugh at his mistakes and his blunders.

Strengths: Animals are fascinated by him. His height. He is a very loving a caring person always helping out in whatever way he can. He has a good memory.

Mannerisms: He likes being able to see a person's eyes when he is talking to them. Whenever he is talking with anyone, he doesn't mince words and speaks with as few words as possible to get his point across.

Points of interest: His two colored eyes. Despite his eyes and height, he seems to be able to blend in the crowd and be forgotten by others. He is a loner more often than not. Animals like to approach him for some reason or other.

Flitts: Bronze King

History: Adair had been born as the fourth son of Fort Hold's Lord Holder. He didn't really expect to become Lord Holder what with so many brothers ahead of him. Then again, with such a large family, he didn't really expect too much resposiblities to be part of his inheritance. It was enough that he would be provided for when he grew up and that he would have a place in the world when that time came. However, the virus made all of that impossible. At the begining of the onslaught, his parents were afflicted and felled to the disease in such a short time. It wasn't long and the death toll in the Northern Continent increased as time passed. What was left of his family was taken to the Southern Continent where it was hoped the disease had not yet spread. However, there had been those that were sick with the passengers and the virus was spread to the unsuspecting Southerners. And like in the North, the people in the south got sick and died.

Even the dragons and their riders were not immune to the disease that ravaged Pern. Adair himself was afflicted with the disease. However, where his family members died one by one, he himself seemed to have survived and beat the virus. He didn't know why he was spared but life in an unknown place with strangers were hard on him. Still, he managed to pull through and grew to love the people that decided to take him into their family. As time passed, his new family learned of his fiery temper and learned to never rouse his anger as much as possible. Adair always seemed to like to help out what few animals that survived the virus whenever he sees them hurt. And of course, he always helps out his family whenever he can. He has grown up to be a tall and strong lad and yet, he still remains unmarried at his age of 22 Turns.

Rumors of the possible return of Threadfall reached Adair's family and at first, Adair didn't put much stock into it for he didn't like gossipers. What changed his mind was the fact that volunteers were called for to explore deeper into the Southern Continent in search of dragonriders. Afterall, as the song goes, "Dragonmen must fly, when Thread is in the sky." He still remembers the Teaching Ballads that he took while he was still young. With so few people left after the virus had seemed to disappear, Adair hopes that there will still be enough dragonriders to fly Thread. Because of his desire to protect his family, he volunteered to go with the expidition team to explore and look for signs of dragonriders.

Not too long after they found the Weyr, Adair found himself being grouped among the youngsters who were part of the exploration team. Then having been informed of what means to be a Candidate, it was not long that the clutch in the sands being guarded by Blue Xennoth started to hatch. Completely unexpected, Adair came face to face with Bronze Rhakimeth and he, A'ir, was informed that he would be Rhakimeth's. When the hatching was over, it was then that he realized that Rhakimeth was the only bronze that hatched. That meant that sooner or later, he would have to take the responsiblity of getting the Weyr in tip-top shape. But for now, he is focused on the Weyrling Lessons that R'sul teaches them.
