Rine is naturally pretty, with long golden blond hair and bright blue eyes. Her form is long and lithe, as she stands at 5'10", but it is definitely easy on the eyes. She wears her hair long and straight, and it falls to just past her shoulder blades. Her body is well formed, with curves in all the right places, and quite busty. Her skin tone is a warm peachy tone, and she is used to the sun bearing down on her. Her face is heart-shaped, with gently curved eyebrows and lovely thick-lashed eyes. A cute upturned nose sits above soft lips that are often stretched in a smile.

She loves to dress up and will at the slightest excuse. She's managed to sort of spoil herself, using her wiles to keep her in semi-luxury. She owns multiple dresses, but only two are for SPECIAL special occasions, like a gather. Her favorite colors are crimsons, purples, and blues, and her clothing mirrors that fact.

Personality: She is an attention seeker. She is always finding someone to sidle up against and talk to. She is gossipy, and can't keep a secret for anything. She isn't the brightest girl around, and has an attention span the size of a trundle-bugs. She is somewhat like a cat in the regard that she loves attention and pampering. This girl is also easily distracted...by about anything. Be it some shiny babble thrown her way or a cute male that walks by.

She has unconsciously suppressed the accident that killed her grandparents behind a face of upbeat cheer. Although it would seem like she should have been extremely tramatized from it, it happened when she was too young to really remember. She is animated and happy most all of the time, but if you catch her at a moment where no one is around, you might see that bit of sadness, as she misses the family she could of had. She was taken up with some of the other orphans from the disaster, so she was able to make multiple friends to take her mind off of it. Plus, she just isn't the kind of girl to dwell on grief.

She worries constantly that people just put up with her, and makes extra efforts to be liked by all. She tries to be everyone's friend, despite how thin that spreads her. Rine tries to avoid taking sides in arguments, as it would cause her to be against someone. She is a generally agreeable girl, even if she doesn't truly agree

She is a little boy crazy, and a little loose in her morals, though she always has a supply of the birth prevention herbs, to make sure she carries no squalling brat. She flirts heavily with any guy who she finds attractive, with no real regard to his current relationship status. She does know when to back off though, and is smart enough to not try anything with anyone of rank, unless they eyed her first.

She can be dull as a rock sometimes... well all the time, but that doesn't mean she is stupid. She is actually quite learned, knowing how to read, write and figure well. She has no idea that her "parents" aren't really her parents, and no one seems to want her to know otherwise.

Points of interest: She likes having a warm partner sharing her bed at night, though since she became a candidate, she hasn't actually done anything with anyone.

History: Errisa has a fling with one of Igen's beasthandler, and from that union came Rine. Jarix refused to claim the child, however as he was already wedded, so Errisa named the child after her own grandmother. Errisa's father was a bit unhappy with that, so he took the child away, and the grandparents raised her. So as an infant, she was moved to Falling Rock Hold where her grandfather was a miner.

Her grandparents spoiled her as much as they could, using gifts and trinkets to make her forget her mother. In fact, the ruse ran so deep, that for all she knew, her grandparents WERE her parents, albiet a little old. Rine wasn't the brightest girl, so she never suspected otherwise. She began her life among miners and farmers and was content.

That all changed the day that the hold lived up to it's name as the rock perched so precariously over the hold fell during an earthshake. This trapped many of the folk in the mine and attached hold. Someone had flown the flag for dragon assistence, but they got there far too late. The dragonriders were able to save only a handful more of the holders, but all that was left were a few shocked Holders and dozens of homeless and parentless orphans. Igen Weyr, the weyr the hold was beholden to transported all the survivors to a large Sea-hold, She was only 4. She was placed on a boat to the Southern Continenent with other orphans from the disaster, the holders thinking that there was more room down that way.

The boat arrived at Southern Hold without much trouble, and offloaded the children. Rine was fostered off shortly after arriving for she was a lovely, quiet girl, a proper hold child. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to stay with the family that took her in, for there was a deadly plague spreading though, killing nearly everyone. At four turns old, Rine couldn't figure out why everyone she was with went away from her. Due to her age, she didn't comprehend that they were dying. She just saw it as them going to sleep and not waking back up.

Thankfully for her, she wasn't the only person to survive this strange plague. A group took her in and raised her. She spent the next ten turns of her life being raised by the refugees. One was a Harper,so she didn't even grow up ignorant. When she was fourteen, an expedition had gone on search for dragonriders, to see if there were any left. About a turn later, word reached the group that a Weyr with dragon eggs had been found, and that the eggs had actually hatched! About two turns after the Weyr was formed, one of the new dragonriders(who came from that group) came to visit and told them that there were eggs on the sand, including a Gold egg. They offered to take anyone who wanted to try and Impress a dragon. Rine decideded to try it, and the dragon deemed her Candidate material, so she traveled to the Weyr to try and Impress a dragon. Now, with only a little time left before the Hatching, the girl grows more nervous and anxious, waiting with bated breath to see what the future holds for her.
