Can I create a H.A.D (hear all dragons) character?
--Not without permission and only if permission is granted. H.A.D.s are RARE among the Pernese people. The admins will determine if your character is suited for this ability or not.
Can my character have unnaturally colored hair/eyes?
--Absolutely not! Pernese people do not have hair dyes nor contact lenses of any kind. You must stay within the realm of realism. If the color doesn't occur naturally in humans, chances are we won't accept it.
Can I give my character a super horrible, traumatic past?
--You can, put please PM an admin with your character sheet so we can look it over. After we've straightened things out, we'll let you know if it has been approved or not. This includes murder and rape that exists in the character's past if you choose to put it there.
Can I have a Mary Sue/Gary Stu character
--No, we don't want those kinds of characters here. If the admins deem your character under these characteristics, we will reject the character until it has been properly modified.
Can I kill other characters?
--Not without EXPLICIT PERMISSION from both Admins and the owner of the character. You can start a light brawl or quarrel, but ABSOLUTELY NO KILLING!! The deaths of characters MUST be approved by Admins first.
Why can't I start with a dragonrider, wherhandler, or have any firelizards?
--Hyperion Weyr's story takes place AFTER the ravages of the Hyperia Virus. Whers and Firelizards are believed to have been wiped out and the only dragonrider left is R'sul, who looks after the ONLY remaining dragon clutch at the weyr. Hyperion Weyr is starting from SCRATCH. This doesn't mean there won't be whers and firelizards, they will make their appearances in due time, when the Admins see fit.
Can I create a candidate even when there aren't any eggs on the Hatching Sands?
--If there is no clutch on the Sands, candidates will generally not be accepted until there is a clutch available. When one is available, there will be limited slots depending on the number of eggs laid. Once the 'Search' is over, candidate submissions are generally closed until the next clutch. THIS does not mean your candidate will Impress for that clutch, they may not and have to wait until the next one.
Can my character(s) Impress a Gold/Bronze dragon? PLEASE??
--Gold and Bronze dragons hold the highest rankings within the weyr, so Admins Impress these dragons to players who can HANDLE these responsibilities. Golds and Bronzes will NEVER be given to shiny-seekers. They are rare dragons.
What about a Hyperion Mutated Dragon? Can I have one of those?
--Again, NO. The Hyperion Mutation is RARE and doesn't always produce the same results in dragons. These are special and rare dragons and are treated the same way as Golds and Bronzes.
