I think it's a tad unhealthy that Gene hates Hyperboy so much. That could seriously impede his ability to make episode 6 as awesome as it needs to be.

Gene, maybe fill us in. Why exactly do you hate it so much?

Hrm, I don't hate my old stories... I just change them into something new and look back with appreciation of how far I've come and although I've outgrown something... there's still a certain charm about it.

That's more or less what I plan to do. I'd like to reshape Hyperboy into something new and better once I finish the 6th episode. Something that doesn't have the main character sharing a name with me. >_>

I don't actually hate it, but like Yart said, I tend to dislike my old work. Most artists do, I think. It's what drive me to improve and want to do better things.
