You would need a lot more practice before you did any work on a collab. That little animation is amateur stuff. But, props for liking Aquabats.

We should do a massive fight scene between all of us. Each one of our characters take part in a fight, appearing and disappearing at random. We'd be passing around the .FLA file, each one adding another bit to continue the fight.

FBF is always best for action scenes. So, that's good. And Yart, if you can make your own original style in Flash form, that'd be cool. Doesn't need to be perfect...just needs to be action-packed.

I'm best at drawing things in flash (and I'm gonna get a tablet soon!), but I can animate pretty smoothly when I want to. *wink wink*

Sure I didn't draw those characters, because it was for school (well okay I did draw like a lot of stuff in there but not the peoples) and I wasn't a good enough people person at drawing at the time to pull all those drawings out of my ear in 2 days. (Talent friend did the people at the beginning and the big surprise) This however would give me more time and junk. I'd seriously have to re-get flash so I could practice that.

And I didn't put enough effort into animating that. I slacked off to the last minute and threw that together in like a couple hours... okay maybe a few...

I would most certainly like to join. I am a good animator, I just don't have time to animate good. Now that summer started in my town, I promise I'll actually work for more than 2 hours and actually try.

Any examples? You seem decent at it...I remember seeing some good animations.

Edit, apparently, I didn't save them. I did manage to find my old crap from when I was like 12. Eh, I can animate fight scenes I've made plenty never got saved. You can judge if my part is good enough if I send you back the fla. What fps are we working at? 24, 18, 12, or what?

Nez: You seem to have a good grasp of FBF. I guess you can be in it.

Stupidity: A lot more practice, and you should be ready.

What fps should we use? 23.96 is my personal favorite, I can work with 15 fps to 30 fps. Anything but 12. My stuff gets so slow at that frame rate.

Edit: Stupidity is a good fbfer, a quick learner. He just needs to work on the graphics a bit.

Speaking of graphics. Here's a good thing to do if you don't have a tablet. Set you smoothing on the brush down to 0, use the second to smallest brush in flash, zoom in 200%, draw a picture with the paint brush, smooth the picture about 7 times, and use the free transform tool to make it look clean and modify the strokes the way you want. I do this now, I have a tablet, I can't adjust to it so I do this.



The picture above is an example of the result if you did this. Ignore the fact that the picture sucks and payattention to the smoothness of the strokes.

The graphics are good, the main char's head looks a bit mishappen though. Other than that, it's good in my opinion.
