** coming soon **

The key word for a workshop is always the word "work".
When you come to the Robotics Workshop, prepare yourself for a long hard night of working hours on end on a single goal. That goal being the creation of a marvelously crafted robot, that can walk, talk, and.. well.. whatever.

The workshop itself is a small warehouse complete with long wooden (and metal) tables. All manners of tools, hammers, welders, saws, and finer insturments laying about to be used (for free) as needed.

Of course, materials will cost you. They'll cost you a lot, an arm and a leg really.
Well, not litterally...
*shifty eyes*

Every moment you spend in our workshop, we expect you to be working. There simply aren't enough robots in the world - and it's much better publicity to open a free workshop than to have a polluting factory. SO! We expect you work your tails off, and in return, you may take home a single "pet project" at the end of the month.

That's right - you'll be building stuff for us, and in return you get to take home your very own (hand crafted) Robot. You ought to know, you crafted it (and paid for the materials) yourself, right?

Don't worry now, no experience needed - we have plenty of experienced Kappers and Androids here to help you. And if you DO have experience, all the better! You'll make much better robots, for sure.

If you're in need of a part or two, you may want to check the shop.. Of course, they don't accept credits really, they only accept your budget.. that's right - you have to work for your robots! But, I'm sure they'll explain a bit more about it themselves... If you're wanting to sell a robot or two, go ahead - I'm sure they're more than willing to recycle a few spare parts.

All Robots start with the following Stats.. It's up to you to make them awesome!
Stamina: 0
Strength: 0
Resistance: 0
Dexterity: 0
Mentality: 0
Special Abilities: Blind, Deaf
Moves: None

Care to work, eh? You already know all the rules, how budgets work, and all that..? I suppose that's fair.

When this post says "open" in big green letters below, go ahead and post in this thread that you'd like to work... You'll have one day to apply. It's on a "raffle" system.. all the people that applied that day get "drawn out of a hat". If you weren't lucky this month, don't worry, more will open next month.

If you're accepted, you'll get a room with your name on it. Go ahead and start posting in the proper format.

You can't work in the Workshop 2 months in a row, you have to let other people take a turn.. Oh yeah, and on that note - you only have a month to get your work sorted out - so you may want to hurry and post once you get a room.

What's the proper format?

The first post must have a form filled out all nice and neat.. The rest of the posts are entirely up to you. You may bring friends, but only your posts count toward your robot and Budget.. Your friends also don't earn any Budget while they're here.. they can just level up and socialize with you.

What's the form for the first post?
We need you to tell us the parts and the costs (and total)... details are lovely...
What it is, Part Name, Cost

Here, use this:

My Budget:

Power Supply:

Misc. Parts:
Ambulatory Parts:
Paint Job:

Strength Upgrade:

Total Cost in Budget:

Here's an example of a completed form:

My Budget: 25000

Metal: Bronze (400)
Hull: Shell (1000)
Motion: Smoosher (400) - Leather Wings (2400)
Power Supply: Steam Pipes (800)

Paint Job: Highlight, White (1000) - Detailing, Baby Blue (2000)

Strength Upgrade: None
Programing: Basic Programing (1000)

Total Cost in Budget: 22400

.... When you're all done posting in the Workshop, and the Month is over - your thread will be closed for you.. we'll help you finish up your robots, calculate it's stats, then send it your way.

Max budget for one robot = $100,000
