What were we doing again?, Currently "training": Squishy

The plan worked perfectly… more or less. Jaz clung onto the tree and Squishy, trying very hard not to fall off. It was more difficult than she had predicted. The ground began to shake harder and harder, and before long, the rock-fall they had all been waiting for began.

At first it was just a few pebbles shaking lose, then fist sized-rocks tumbling down. Then small boulders careening towards the ground. It wasn’t until Kamal was nearly smacked in the face with a particularly belligerent boulder that he decided to high-tail it. He turned around and shot towards the tree, coming to a skidding halt behind it.

Other than that little detail of “personal danger,” though, things went swimmingly. The cliff all but crumbled, the steady rumble shaking it apart. It would be interesting to use during a fight near a mountain, that much was certain.

“Let’s just go over it once more. When I say shake, you…”
{Shake thouroughly, making sure there is no more moisture-}
“Enough of that!” said Jaz with a pout. “Now you’re just trying to be difficult. I thought you wanted to get home?”
{Alright, alright. You say shake, I do the earthquake thing. I get it, I promise.}
“I can’t wait to try it out more!”
{I hope we never have to, all things considered.}
“We SO will. I heard there’s a big boss at the end of the plains.”
As she was talking, Jaz climbed onto Kamal’s back, the unhappy Squishy once more in tow. Squishy climbed onto Kamal’s head, and with cue from Jaz, they started off moving again, this time towards home.
