So, talking in the C-box... The topic of Pliathor came up. And from there, we went to different sizes of Pliathor, and a YIM convo led to yet another idea...

What if there were GIANT (maybe silver colored? Like, dull gray silver, reflecting dull gray clouds, etc?) Pliathor out in the Sea?

Or maybe small Pliathor (Minithor)... Possibly one found in bogs or something, in the Jungle to the South? Something that would be all bright colors, like a Macaw or something, living in the depths of the waters... like an alligator might.

Or a sand-Pliathor, in the desert! One that treats sand as it would water, and has special eyelids to protect its eyes from the grit...

A sand pliathor would be awesome! And just imagine walking around in the desert and having a pliathor head pop out of the sand infront of you!

I do it all because I'm
evil
And I do it all for free
Your
tears are all the pay I'll ever need

Think about how terrifying the sand one would be. .-.'' Walking along and suddenly the sand starts shifting wildly, and it runs off this shape as something with giant, gleaming fangs riiises up in front of you... -shudder-

Also-

A Lava Pliathor (similar to the Lava Tilvander) would be interesting. It would only live in and near volcanoes (which are to the south and/or west I would presume. Perhaps under the ocean near undersea volcanoes). They'd be all molten and craggy, and would be able to swim through lava and molten rock as opposed to water.

Of course, it would be rather hard keeping those in a kennel...;)

Maybe not JUST molten lava, ;3 Maybe also highly sulferous, high-temperature waters - like say in and around one of those underwater vents? Directly offshore of a volcanic area, or a volcanic spring that's connected to the ocean itself, or at least large enough to house a Pliathor?

WHOO! =D

And while I was watching the Little Mermaid (the 3rd one, with the very evil large eels) I was like, "What about an electric-eel Pliathor?"

Course, not as cool as the SAND Pliathor, but you know. x3

Those would awesome to see, like going through a forest and suddenly a wild majestic stag looks up and sees you through a sun beam. *-*

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill,
Of things unknown, but longed for still;
And his tune is heard on the distant hill, for
The caged bird sings of freedom.
