"Well," Ashe said, deciding it would be best to call it quits before he pressed his luck too much. It was only a matter of time before Azrael and Ember got at each other again... He plucked his little white draconic into his arms, despite the squirming and scratching. He called to Trish, and the other baby looked up, but she didn't move toward him. Ashe sighed, wishing he'd tried harder and taught his babies the regular commands... He ran a hand through his hair with his free hand, before Azrael started to squirm and kick again. Ashe grabbed him up in both hands, and turned with a grin to Obsidion. "See you tomorrow, then. Same place?"
He walked over to Trish, and stooped, letting go of Az's hind end long enough to pluck up the second Draconic. She squealed indignantly, but it was all for a show. She shoved her muzzle against Ashe's collarbone, nuzzling, and then turned to grunt a farewell to her friend. She knew she'd see her again soon...

"Alright, see you tomorrow then!" Obsidion said with a smile, waving to them. He kept a hand on Ember's head to keep her from running off, but she was still too busy gnawing on her wing. The young man shook his head and plopped down beside her, a little unsure of what to do.
There had to be more to do here, right? Maybe soon he'd take her somewhere else, he wasn't entirely sure where but something had to be open...? Ember glanced up and tilted her head as they left, eyes widening when she saw the big man taking her friend away. Gurgling a little, she started to follow before glancing over her shoulder at the Human. Well... she did like him... She would see Trish again, she just had to! "Trish?" Ember asked over her shoulder at the Human, "See... Trish?" Obsidion looked at her in awe and delight, while it wasn't a full sentance, at least it was more than one word at once! "Yes Ember, you'll get to see Trish tomorrow!" he told her, stroking her back and smiling as she wriggled and gurlged happily.

It was the next day, and Ashe was eager to see his friend. It seemed like ages... But really, it had only been the rough time they'd had getting home. Azrael had wanted to explore- to find Ember and teach her a lesson, no doubt. Trish had squirmed and fought Ashe every step of the way, cause she wanted to be put down, but when Ashe did, she'd try to scamper away as well.. It had been tough, but they were back again today. And they were more behaved, at least.
They rounded a curve just as Ashe was realizing he might not be able to find the same place... He frowned a bit, eyeing the walls that all looked so alike. Azrael didn't seem to notice anything new or out of the ordinary, but Ashe did. Trish, who Ashe was holding while Azrael got his turn to walk, huffed and sent out sparks.
"Obs?" Ashe called his name into the shadows, just in case he was there already.

"Ember smell Trish!" the little Draconic insisted emphatically, padding along with her nose to the ground. The young man sighed and glanced around, unsure of where they were exactly. If only the whole Canyon didn't look so... similar. That would be the downfall of the place, maybe.
But maybe it had been a mistake to have the little one pick up on language so quickly. Now that she knew how to make decent sentances, she didn't really stop talking. "Obdion faster! Ember smell Trish!" Ember insisted again, reaching back to tug on his pants with a forelimb. The young man chuckled, amused by the way she could say his name, sometimes she had problems with s's, and he... had a difficult name, he knew that.
"Heya Ashe!" the young man called as they came around a corner and spotted the trio. Ember, in her delight to see her friend again, barreled into the big girl while glaring at the bigger blue hatchling.

Ashe whipped around, startled by the sound of a voice. It was a voice he knew very well, but with the echoing, and the...well, he was just caught off guard. He flashed Obsidion a grin, unsure if he could see it in this light or not. Perhaps his teeth would catch a bit of the dim light... "Hi there!" he said in response. He looked down, hearing scuffling feet, and saw something streak heading straight for his feet. Was she running at Azrael? Ashe was holding Trish, so the other couldn't even reach her friend... Ashe wanted to call out a warning to Azrael, just in case, but that would bring the blue-white baby closer toward Ember, who he didn't like much.
"Hi there!" Ashe said, feeling the Draconic by his feet. He knelt, still holding Trish, but this time out and over Ember's head. "This what you're looking for?" he asked kindly. Trish squealed and clawed the air in her excitement to see her friend again, her tail whipping about. To Obs, Ashe added, "So, what're you guys up to?"

Ashe set Trish down, and let her trot over to her friend. Trish snorted and pawed at the talking baby, then leapt onto her back, claws clicking against the scales, arms trying to pin the other down. She was so excited to see Ember again, she couldn't contain herself! Before she knew it, smoke was coming from her mouth, though she hadn't even tried to summon her flames. Not that she had many flames as it was... But she had enough to get around for now.
Azrael, luckily, hadn't noticed Ember. He'd found a puddle, and there was...something at the bottom. He leaned closer, eyes straining in the darkness, trying to see through his white reflection. It was a pain sometimes, being so brightly colored! He humphed, and shoved his nose into the cold water. Something slimey and slippery darted past his nose, a tail hitting a nostril. A fish! It was a fish!
"It's nice to see them play.." Ashe admitted, watching the two. After a few moments, he managed to tear his eyes away from them to look at Obs. "So, what have you been up to?" It had only been one night, it was true, but Ashe figured it would be nice to ask anyway. A lot could happen...

Ember squealed and tried to get away from the flame coming from her friend's mouth. That could hurt if it hit her! Wrestling around for a bit, she made sure her wings were out of harms way before nipping playfully at Trish's smaller wings. It was a good thing her mind had been torn away from the blue Draconic, that probably would have led to a bit of a mess.
"Not much really. Just started talking a lot around Ember and she seems to have picked up nicely," the young man said with a grin, watching her proudly. Though her father couldn't speak, Obsidion was sure he was proud that his daughter could. Izzy was just like that, and the young man adored him. "What about you?" he asked, pushing his hair back and glancinc over at his friend.
Excited, Ember nodded as Obsidion spoke, "Trish! Ember say!"

Trish flapped her stubby little wings as much as she could, playing along with Ember. She swished her tail along the ground, like she had seen her "dad" do, and then sat down. That part, her "dad" didn't normally do, but concentrating on making your tail move was rather hard! She sighed softly, and stretched her front limbs, almost like a feline. However, soon as she got in that position, she decided she wanted to lay down. She snorted at Ember, trying to get her to lay down with her.
"Nothing exciting. Living with three big lugs, a big red that's also not too bright, and one lone Yellow that knows how to say a few words... It doesn't leave room for much conversation." Ashe chuckled, reminding himself that he liked the lesser intelligent ones. On the one hand, the less intelligent ones were more "pet" like, as they didn't think that much about it. But they also weren't annoyingly talkative, and smarter than Ashe. Ashe didn't mind being one of the smartest in his Canyon home...
Azrael snapped at the fish again with his jaws, but they closed on nothing. He pulled back, mouth full of water, and gagged, spraying it everywhere. He coughed again, and breathed his light mist, which sparkled prettily enough in the darkness.
Trish: 4.0 Azrael: 6.3 Ashe: (added)

Oh, but Ember wasn't ready to stop just yet! She giggled a little and snorted at her friend. Sure, she couldn't breathe anything like Trish or Azrael, but she could talk! So really, in a way, they all could make things come out of their mouths. That thought had nothing bad aligned with it to the little one, maybe her mind was just too innocent still.
"Yeah, Ember's dad's a big red. Didn't get to him in time, so he's rather quiet. I think he's proud that Ember can talk a little though, gets it from her mom," Obsidion said with a smile. He was pleased that he'd finally have a creature he could hold a conversation with. Yeah, being able to tell them what to do was fun, but... he rather enjoyed sitting back and just talking sometimes. People weren't the only intelligent ones out there, after all.

(TWO months later. XD I thought Spirit was going to do something... XP)
Trish snorted and watched her friend. She just wouldn't settle down, would she? Trish pulled herself back up, flicking her tail back and forth. Well, fine, she could play too! Crouching low to the ground, she stuck her butt up in the air, and lunged at the talking baby. With a squeak of warning, that is, and nothing more. She flapped her tiny wings that would never be of any use to her, and landed with a thump.
"Didn't get to him in time? You mean, didn't teach him in time?" Ashe asked. The way Obs had said it made it sound tragic, like they'd lost the father or something, and that would be terrible... Ashe hoped he didn't mean that. He glanced around, talking about a male draconic making him think of his own baby. He saw a light sparkling shimmer, and figured it was his little light-breather. He walked over, and scooped the baby up, much to Azrael's displeasure, and walked back over to Obs to continue the conversation.
Trish: 4.1 Azrael: 6.4 Ashe: +1
