Help out an Animal Rescue Group?

So as most of you know I do volunteer work with a place called Agee Memorial (it is a cat sanctuary) and they are trying to get grants to expand the sanctuary so we can take in more cats. They are a no kill shelter and do a LOT of work with feral cats (hence why we need to expand - we took in 50+ feral cats last month and are pretty much full!)

And one way to get the grant money is this national shelter competition. People go to this site and vote up their favorite shelter each day (1 vote per day).


So I bet you can guess where this is going right? Yeah. I'm here to ask you guys to help out.

We are ranked at 13 for the top Californian prize. ($1000)
We are ranked 310 for the Grand Prize. ($5000)

As you can see we're aiming to take one of the California prizes, and this is the highest ranked we have EVER been (I'm super excited! We might actually be able to do this!)

So if you guys could spare a couple of minutes to cast a vote (even if you only do it once), that would be amazing.

This really means a lot to me. They do amazing work with animals and in the three year's I've been with them they've made brilliant changes to the sanctuary, including things that make it easier on the volunteers AND the animals!
